Thanks for all the possitivity ladies

I have a lot to think about. I do remember feeling totally in control and being able to have 'one icecream' or 'one donut' at certain points in the past. Not sure if I'm there yet?

I was 40 this year, and my bad eating started when I was 14 after my mum and dad had a very horrible divorce. I used food as a comfort. It's a habit that I still have today. I really wanted to 'grow out of it' this year :o

Over the years I've been really big and lost it (almost all) 4 times! 4 times I've gone back up to 20 stone  I've never lost it all completely. I get to around 13 st, sometimes for a year or two, and then it all gets too boring/difficult, and I put it all back on again.

I really really want to do it this time! Thinking possitive, and signing off for an early night ;)

    Morning,

It's the weekend, I always find it harder to stick to plan. I need to plan ahead and make a super nice tea for tonight so I don't feel the need to snack on lots of rubbish later on.

I can't remember but did I read on here that you can make chicken nuggets with Smash? I have a tub in the cupboard (been there a while, oops) and would like to make them with wedges, salad etc.
I take it all you do is, egg, and roll them in the seasoned smash and bake them in the oven? I have some spicy seasoning I could use.

Have a great eating day today :D

I seem to be doing the 5-2 diet but in reverse :D, I stick to SW in the week but weekends are dangerous and I don't stick at all :o. When I reached target I said I'd have Sundays off so I could have proper thick gravy and hubby's huge yorkshires but have slowly gone to Saturdays off and even Fridays ie Chinese that night. So am with you and a lot of others who find weekends hard.
Keep the faith :A and we'll get through it :A

I always think our saving grace in the main is that we dont have a lot to loose to get to where we need to be TIE if you see what I mean?
The success for me is more of less staying within my target range.I would like to be nearer the bottom but hey ho.
When I did Sc Slimmers a few years ago & got to target loosing a similar amount I put it all back on very quickly.
This time I have been at target a year this month, helped by being on the social team & having made that commitment to go each week.

Flew back from my 2 days in Japan last night and after my birthday, 2 days of aeroplane food and 2 days of trying to be good in Japan (lots of fish and rice, even for breakfast!) I've managed another 4.5lbs off this week by making as many sensible choices as possible. Requesting and eating fruit on the plane, ignoring the desserts they provide (and the cheese and dessert wines).

Very pleased with that, especially as I lost my self control on Thursday night and had 4 or 5 beers and a big meal. Back on the EE again today, but flying to Spain tomorrow (for a HOLIDAY, not business which is a sweet feeling) and making sure I have packed Weatabix etc to manage the SW diet as best as possible. Spanish food is always served with a fat slick of paprika-ry oil, so this could present a challenge.

THanks for all the support on here, I'm nudging 1 stone off in 2 weeks, shows how much extra I have been lugging around.

BIGGEST HARDSHIP - No CHEESE. I have had 2 babybel lights in 2 weeks. I love cheese.
