Because that's what I want everyday
:D
I got to target having weetabix every day for breakfast (still do) my other meals were very samey too. Worked for me. Have what you want Frogga and if at some point you stall THEN mix it up, but if it ain't broke don't fix it :rotfl:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi all
One day to weigh in I know I was OTT today I had 3 bananas and like Mamman said in message to aero I think same re too much fruit if you OD on it because I find if I eat way too much fruit I don't lose
I don't know if this is any help but when I did the diet years ago I could do red week original plan and be bit bad and lose but if I did green in other words lots of pasta jacket potatoes etc i didn't lose. Thing it was really odd even if I tuck to the letter
It's just a suggestion but fish for me works really well and also am doing the scan bran 5 day challenge thing ongoing
It may be worth his while doing that as I think if he had a great week it would really give him a lift and the urge to continue.
Today had salmon with soya sauce honey and chilli the one from website with stirfryveg oh wow it's gorgeous
Tomorrow is first weigh in
Currently
5ft9.5. 13 st 4.5
Would be thrilled if 13 or below tomorrow but as long as going down will be happy0 -
Hope your weigh in is good magicbucks.

Think Im getting lazy with it and complacent - going to start again tomorrow writing everything down and counting the syns again. Also no drink until Friday !!0

Thanks for the welcomes and replies. I know he's definitely not cheating, it's not his style. I also don't think he eats too much fruit or miscalculates syns. The thing about EE is that it's fairly simple to follow, even if you're cooking a full meal.
His food for the day is usually something like a Mullerlite and piece of fruit for breakfast. Lunch is usually along the lines of either a synless fish with a couple of slices of medium wholemeal unbuttered bread or a butterless sandwich or crispbreads with cottage cheese. Occasionally with baked crisps as a 5 syn treat. Dinner is always calculated to be synless or virtually so, with a synless pudding afterwards.
I'll mention to him that you've said that people often stall then start again. I don't want him giving up as I think 19lbs is an achievement as it stands.
Frogga - COPD is the general acronym (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) now used for lung complaints such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Thanks again all.0 -
yesterdays post
Frogga’s Diary Day 8 Week 2 (Wow week 2 already!)
Breakfast~ baked beans on 1 opened wholemeal roll (HEB) with 6 mushrooms & 2 poached eggs & grated cheese(HEA) on top sitting on a huge bed of leaves
Snack~ Banana & 2 xkiwi
Lunch~ little pot of hummus(HEB) and carrot, cucu, cherry toms, 2 big balls (!)of beetroot, celery then a ff rhubarb yog
Snacks~ apple
Tea~ wm pasta Loads ofbroad beans & stir fry veg (bean sprouts, white cabbage, green cabbage, carrots and onion) and dry roast veg (onions, red onions, mange tout, little sweet corn, peppers) & grated cheese (HEA)
Eve Snack~ ff yog then later an apple
Dog Walk ~ 3 miles
2l Water~ Drank it all!!
Bike Ride~ the whole way roundt he village twice! That’s 6 miles!
Actually feeling positive at the moment. All the exercise is really lifting my mood. Going round the village twice wasn’t as bad as I thought, and I clocked it on my little machine thing on my bike as Mr Frog put a battery in it and it’s actually 3 miles not 2.5 as I had previously thought. So I’m very pleased with that. I’m aiming for a stone in the next 5 weeks. I’d be really pleased with that. I’m going for this.Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Thanks for telling me what COPD meant Aero. That's rough. Mr Frog has RA and seems to be deveoping a few more of the Auto Immune diseases too at the moment. Not great. I feel for you both. With regard to the weight loss, it lookks possibly like he doesn't eat enough? 20ish stone needs alot to keep it going or you fall into starvation mode. I eat Tonnes more than you posted, just look back
and I'm only a small green Frog.
Beanine I haven't been counting the roll as a Syn as I've been saying it's one of my HEB's? Have I made a mistake in that? I'm alwyas green so thought I get 2 A's and 2 B's? Oh Flip please tell me that's right?
Feel positive again today. All that exercise helped yesterday. Fingers crossed for us all today.Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Frogga - you're right you do get 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs on Green, so you're OK with your roll, as long as it is 60g, which is actually a very small roll most are more than 60g and need to be HEB + 2 (or thereabouts depending on weight).
Aero - I agree with Aero your partner doesn't seem to be eating very much and also doesn't seem to be having syns. Without having syns he's not really sticking to plan properly. The 5-15 syns a day are part of the plan.
