I'm having another Green day today. Was going to have a Red day yesterday but changed it to EE after fancying beans on toast for breakfast, LOL!

L - LO boiled potatoes sliced and fried in Frylight, egg, mushrooms and beans (had planned on jacket potato and beans but no jackets left!)
D - Sweet chilli (2 syns) Quorn chicken pieces with rice.
HEA 1 - milk in teas throughout the day
    HEB2 & HEB1 - cheese on Ryvita x 3

Snacks - fruit, ice lolly (either a mini milk or a fruit split so 1.5 or 3 syns). May also have a pink n white (2 syns). Total 5.5 or 7
Drinks: tea, coffee, water, squash, diet tonic with loads of ice

Frogga I hear what you're saying about repairing the damage but I hope you can draw a line over that and think 'this' is the start of your journey to the you that you want. So DO focus on that fab loss of 6lb, DO feel PROUD that you did it, that you DID have the will power to stick to it and go forward to week 2 with the same frame of mind.
I for one am really impressed, never lost that much ever :p so come on you CAN DO THIS :A:A:A
Thanks TIE, I'm just too embarrassed to do the 'wow look at me, ain't I clever' thing because I've been here SO many times before, and I will fall off the wagon again because I always do, so I guess I'm just waiting for it :o but thanks very much for your encouragement :D

Frogga - TIE is right you need to draw a line under your old ways and concentrate on the future. You need to stop thinking negatively as in " I will fall off the wagon again" and think positively - "I've lost 6lb and I can continue to lose". So remember "THINK POSITIVE".

  • Ex target member, just re-joined after 3 years of getting back into bad habits. First weigh in Wednesday morning!

Loving extra easy, although struggling slightly with only one Healthy option B. Tend to have cereal or toast for breakfast which leaves me struggling for quick lunches. Any ideas appreciated!

Frogga - Congratulations on your massive weight loss - don't think of it as 6lbs though - imagine it as 12 packs of butter melted away! Will be following your journey!

    Hi Guys,

Tried a red day for the 1st time yesterday

b- syn free pork sausages with homemade ketchup made with passata
    l - sunbites (6) (i was in the cinema)
d - chinese chicken (1) salad with low fat thousand island (2)
s- strawberries, popcorn (3), muller greek lemon (0.5)
hea - 2 small glasses alpro choc milk
heb - 4 alpen lights! (have just discovered the lemon flavour)

Have woken up with a belly ache though so I think it was either too much meat or too many alpens!

    Going back to ee today;

breakfast has been my healthy extras.
    hea - milk in coffee
    heb - 2 x alpens

Have to go out and find something for lunch from marks or maybe the canteen.

dinner will be the rest of my big mac in a bowl mix with salad

Frogga keep going - its a commitment for life - that's the way I'm looking at it.

I'm 2 stone 8 lbs down from the start of April. I'd love to get to my target like yesterday lol - but I know its going to take time.

I'm setting myself a target for another 1 stone for the end of August. Its took me a month and a half to lose a stone so I need to up the Anti.

The reason for the one stone loss is I'm meeting up with an old friend for a night out in early Sept and want to by something nice to wear then.

I'm a big 16 btw at the minute.

Last night ended up diving into a pack of Paprika Rice Cakes in front of the tv. Not great but damn better than crisps or Chinese or some other sort of rubbish.

So my plan for the week is to resist all alcohol until Friday and get out walking 6 nights.

Have a bit of a pasta salad with me here today and think dinner is going to be egg and sw chips.

Strange this is as time goes on I do find myself craving Chinese, chippy etc less. I guess as time goes on you want to protect what you have lost.

Also half the time I think I want something now I think to myself I could make a SW version of that for less fat and do.

Funny how it all gets ingrained into your brain!

Good look to all this week - weigh in for me tonight - hoping for a 1 lb loss.

:naughty: that's enough defeatist talk!;) You've done brilliantly.:T

What are you eating today? I thought some of last week's food looked a bit samey, particularly breakfast. That's fine if it's your absolute favourite but I find that doing a weekly meal plan helps me positively look forward to my meals.

:hello:osf, it is a nuisance not being able to fall back on a roll or a sandwich for lunch. If you're out at work then it rather depends on the facilities you have. Salads, rice salads, pasta salads are good at this time of the year. HM Soups and things like mugshots and pasta 'n' sauce in the winter. If you're at home mostly (as I am) then I do soups or eat a lot of bubble&squeak type things (from LO veg) or stir fry with some lean meat.

No LO veg from last night as we were quite greedy at supper time. Plus I succumbed to a handful of crisps.:o

    Back properly on plan today.

B: baked beans, bacon, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, NAS Ribena
L: maybe just fruit again but if I'm hungry I've got various bits of veg to do a stir-fry
D: baked haddock, SW wedges, cauliflower cheese

Syns: just the cheese sauce planned but tonight's the last evening of my dancing class and I know there'll be naughty stuff at the tea break. I'll do my best to limit what I have but it will be difficult to take nothing.

Hi Maman  Yes, my food is very samey. I'm veggie, don't eat any 'fake meat' either so I only really eat fruit and veg and beans. I get a taste of something and then I want it all the time but I know I should swap things about a bit more than I do. If I could, I'd eat the same breakfast lunch and tea everyday.:o

I will try to have a different brekkie tomorrow, I'm planning on porrige, but I'll be dreaming of Baked Beans on a roll with mushrooms. Tonight I'm having pasta, but I'm already a little bit annoyed because I don't really like it and I'd rather have a jacket potato and beans :D

I'm a creature of habit, hense why I've been with the same frog for the last 25 years since I was 15. See, I know what I like and I like what I know :D

Hope you didn't take offence, none intended. It's just that our consultant frequently recommends variety as way of getting weightloss moving. That's partly so people don't get bored (obviously not a problem in your case;)) but also because the body seems to respond to a bit of a 'shake up' now and then. Anyhow, the time to consider it is if you're not losing not when you've lost a marvellous 6 lbs.!!!:j
