Frogga’s Diary Day 6 Week 1
~ only a little bit drunk
Knowing my penchant for wine syns I interpreted this as only a bit squiffy!:rotfl:
Well done for listening to DH last night even though you didn't like what you heard. He's right and you'd have hated yourself this morning. You're in this for the long haul, right through the school holidays!! Well done on getting to Day 7. When do you weight?
:TMrO, that's excellent, a 7lb loss. Happy Birthday for Tuesday and enjoy your meal with MrsO tonight. Bike riding might tone you (and wear you out;)) but you're more likely to notice a loss of inches rather than lbs.
EE again for me today:
B: bacon, egg, HEB toast, mushrooms, NAS Ribena, HEA milk for teas
L: probably just fruit, really haven't been hungry in the day since summer beganlamb chops with cabbage, carrots, roast potatoes, red cabbage and gravy
Syns: I'm going to do a makeshift roast dinner with the chops as I'm trying to run down the freezer. They won't be 'all visible fat removed' otherwise I won't have juices for the gravy and there wouldn't be much left to eat!:rotfl:0 -
Well done MrOrchard. A huge loss for your first week!!
I have been following this month's 7 day plan in the SW magazine but haven't lost aything at all. I have STS so it could have been worse. I haven't been on here for a while so I hope that coming back might help my weight loss.
Today I have already had 2 slices wholemeal bread from a small GF loaf.(HEB)
But I have also had 3!! Sainsbury's Glamorgan sausages (Love veg) with leeks and mature cheese. I usually have Quorn which used to be syn free. Does anyone know how many syns in these sausages. I can't find my syn book.
ETA I also had 5g butter and a squirt of ketchup:obusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Having an EE day today:
B - beans on toast, banana
L - Tuna and boiled egg salad
D - Boiled bacon, potatoes, onions, carrots; might also do some brocolli
Snacks - fruit
Syns - glass or two of red wine

That's 9 syns (3 x 3) for the sausages and butter's 2 for a teaspoon.
It seems very strange that you haven't lost anything if you've followed the plan. It sounds as if some syns have crept in somewhere, perhaps you're using a product that isn't as free as you think? It must be disheartening, but STS has to be better than a gain.:)
Do keep posting, maybe with your food diaries.0 -
Thanks maman, I wonder if the yoghurts I ate were not syn free. I bought fat free local yoghurts as I couldn't buy the same ones as on the list. Or maybe I just ate too much fruit?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Too much fruit is always a concern for me. However, when I've eaten loads of fruit and not lost that week, I just had to remember to keep going, as it's overall WL that we need to remember, not the odd week where nothing appears to have happened :beer:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi all,
Frogga, I think you did really well considering your emotional triggers were being pulled and you resisted. I think the greater achievement is when its really hard and we keep going, rather than when its dead easy and just drops off?
MrO - that's fab, well done!!! Enjoy your birthday meal guilt free. Keep up that Body Magic
My friend who was staying with us and luring me into wine syns has departed, so I'm back on the tee-total wagon for the next few weeks (I have another reenactment event the second weekend in August, I'm expecting to spend a LOT on ethanol syns)which should help
Brunch was 2 slices w/meal with ham, cucumber and lettuce as open sandwiches (allows for more salad, and somehow makes me feel like I've had more)
Dinner will be chilli beef with boiled rice and a side salad followed by a nice fruit salad
Its a good deal cooler here today, so I have a pan of "fridge soup" on, which should take care of a number of lunches over the coming week.
The reenactment weekend is exercising my mind though, I think I'm going to have to take mostly my own food in order to stay on plan (and have syns left for a wee dram). I'll have a bit more of a think and then post again for some advice if that's ok?

Well done losers Especially mrO :A
Been a bit lax on the posting front so must do better
WI with a STS which I'm happy with as had a couple of off plan meals due to leavers/ end of term do's.
6 weeks to keep on track. On a nsv front, bought a long t-shirt from sains the other week and put it on today. To be honest I could wear it as a dress albite a very clingy dress. Anyway the upside was I didn't look like I 'had a baby in my tummy' thank you very much little miss 5 yr old. In fact was pleasantly surprised at how flat(ish) my tummy did look in such a clingy thing, just need to get rid of the vpl and I'd look the bizz :rotfl:
Good luck all and keep the faith :A:AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
