You can buy the Hartley no sugar jelly crystals and make your own. Each sachet makes a pint of jelly for 1.5 syns. Even better if you add fresh fruit in them (don't use kiwi or pineapple the jelly won't set!).

Cottage cheese (perhaps with spring onion chopped in) makes them a bit wetter.
Enjoy your meal!:)
I agree with lantanna, having a flexi meal for a treat is a good idea and if you are careful with syns for the rest of the week then it shouldn't prevent weightloss. I think it's good to either go to a restaurant or when people come round so that you don't end up with a lot of non SW friendly ingredients in the house. I sometimes have a cheeseboard when I go out as it's so much safer than having a selection of cheeses in the fridge.
We had one such meal last night. DH is just eating up the remains of antipasti and I'll finish up the strawberries later.
Today's going quite well on EE:
B: NAS Ribena, bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans and HEB toast. HEA milk for teas.
L: strawberries and maybe a banana (not hungry at the moment)chicken jumbalaya with peppers, onions, courgettes, mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes and peas.
Syns: I'll maybe use a little oil with the chicken and then the usual Saturday night wine syns!:j0 -
Hi all,
We had a big full English for brunch, and plan risotto for dinner. Went to China Town to collect ingredients for cooking some of the dishes from the Taste of Asia book.
B - grilled bacon, grilled flat cap mushroom, grilled tomatoes, baked beans
S - cherries
D - chicken, chestnut mushroom & mange tout risotto
Syns: I had a tin of ice cold cider when we got back from Town cos I was roasted!
HEA will be 1/2 milk & 1/2 15g of grana padano on my risotto. HEB will likely be some alpen bars for a choccy hit
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend

I made the most amazing dinner last night and couldnt get on here to tell u guys!
Big mac in a bowl;
Extra lean mince browned off with onion.
Mix in chopped gherkins and warm.
Mix in 2 light cheese slices as your hea until they melt
Dish up on a bed of shredded lettuce
Pour over 2 tbsp kraft low fat thousand island dressing,1 syn per spoonful
Add another cheese slice ontop. This may be the rest of your hea or synned depending on which brand you have used.
Can I just say I was very sceptical but it really did taste like big mac!0 -

I do feel like a really greedy pig showing you all how much I’m eating. I have eaten this amount the last time I was ‘being good’ and I did lose 7st doing it this way so?
Then later in the eve … Really, nearly wanted to stuff my face. Really nearly ate the chocolate in the wardrobe. Had an apple. Didn’t help. Went to bed.

Flip me yesterday was really hard. I was fine until the evening. The upset at home had blown over and now everyone was friends again I wanted to eat some of the chocolate. The others had some sweets, and biscuits and I asked Mr Frog shall I go and get the box of Thornton’s and we could share but he said no because I’d feel cheesed off tomorrow if I binged today after being so good for 6 days. It was the right thing to say, but he cheesed me off even more. Because I wanted to bingeDo't think the urge will ever go

Morning team!
Just completed my first week and weighed in 7lbs down for week one! It was nearer 10 yesterday morning, but I displayed my legendary self control at the BBQ we hosted for 30 people yesterday and drank far too much (and ate bread/crisps/sausages etc etc).
I did cycle 28 miles on Friday which I'm sure helped maximise the loss, also going to try and get out for 20 miles of hill work on the bike later as well, which should mean I'm unable to walk in the morning, lugging 21 stone up 10% grades isn't easy.
Out for a b'day meal with Mrs. O tonight as I'm travelling on Tuesday, which is my actual birthday, and determined to make better choices and get back on the wagon today and tomorrow before the trials of flying to and being in Japan Tuesday until Friday.
beanielou - the mags arrived, thank you - that's very kind of you!0
