Mr Orchard what a cracking first week well done and the rest of you as we'll. There seems to have been lots of people with lots going on in the week that could have been stressful
that still managed to more or less stay on the straight and narrow to me that's amazing

Are they fresh or frozen? They sound lovely, I might have a look for some tomorrow. I know we could probably make them but they'd be handy to keep in the freezer. Thanks.

  • Hi guys. I had an awesome dinner tonight. Made steak with roasted mushrooms and onions, SW roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, broccoli, corn on the cob and brussel sprouts.I had some gravy made from granules and it was lush lush lush. Kids and DD's BF all munched it down as well not realising how nice and healthy it was :D.

I have lost 2 and a half stones since joining SW last Sept and want to get to 5 stones by Christmas. So I have 35 lbs to lose in 20 weeks which is 1.75lbs per week. Doable but will need to be mega disciplined. So that's my challenge to myself. Reach my 5 stone award by Christmas. I would be able to get a nice size 16 little black dress if I managed that :D.
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

I would love too but am technically at target just would prefer to be lower end rather than where I am. So I probably won't lose much but will keep you company none the less. We can do this :A:A

Right, just hopped on the scales :o

My scales are not hugely accurate. They are the sort with a dial, not elecric ones. They are not very old so I have no excuses to buy a nice clean digital pair. And I've got no money anyway so I've got to make do with the ones I've got.

They wobble alot, I got off and on about 100 times and each time they are slightly different and I can't stand TOTALLY still so they keep moving. So, I've just had to have a reasonable guess. And it roughly said I'd lost 6lb. And that's me being on the generous side so next week isn't too much of a dissappointment ;)

SO I should be pleased with that. It's not 6lb on which it would have been if I'd have kept on going the way it was. Now aimming to lose more next week to get nearer to the next st down.

My mini goals for week 2 of my Summer Holiday Challenge ~

~Actually drink the 2l of water I'm measuring out each day rather than just looking at it and saying to myself 'oh don't forget to drink the water'
~ up my cycle ride to 2 times around the block. Not sure whether to do 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening or 2 at once?
~ Eat the huge bag full of green beans my mum just bought round
~ Start my big clean up doing 1 room at a time.

Today's room will be my bedroom as there isn't too much to do there. Need to change sheets etc dust and a quick hoover then it's done:)

I'll feel wobbly today. Today will be hard. I won't be able to focus on the 6lb loss as I'll be thinking too much of the remaining lbs still to lose. I don't feel pleased with myself because I'm only repairing the damage I'd been doing my stuffing and stuffing and stuffing :(

Frogga I hear what you're saying about repairing the damage but I hope you can draw a line over that and think 'this' is the start of your journey to the you that you want. So DO focus on that fab loss of 6lb, DO feel PROUD that you did it, that you DID have the will power to stick to it and go forward to week 2 with the same frame of mind.
I for one am really impressed, never lost that much ever :p so come on you CAN DO THIS :A:A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
