Nessie, I wouldn't worry too much, when I was pregnant I couldn't eat any fruit or veg for most of the middle 7/8 months as just the thought of it made me feel sick (bad morning sickness), but my DD was & is perfect ;)

I do take the multivitamins & drink a glass of fruit juice a day (strange that i can stomach that!) - so i don't feel that bad - but it still doesn't seem 'right' - also strange that i have all of a sudden (Monday) gone through more sickness than i have had the entire pregnancy :(

It doesn't help that i have had several gallstone attacks over the last month - starting to get limited on the things i can eat (not that i should be eating chips/greasy foods!)

    Hi all,
We have just booked our wedding for 2015 and I'm figuring there's no time like the present to lose weight! The sooner the better eh?! I've just searched for local clubs and have found one near to me on a Wednesday evening which would be perfect. So, should I go for it?! What type of plans do they offer? Do they go through everything with you when you first go?? I'm slightly worried and nervous... As soon as I start, my heart will be in it and I also have a gym membership with pool access which I don't currently use, so will be utilising this! So any tips, advice?? Many thanks in advance! :-)

Go for it - i lost 4st for my wedding in just over 10 months!

You will be told everything - you will have a sit down with the consultant for about 30mins to run through the extra easy plan - if you are vegetarian you will get a brief look at green days (don't quote me on that bit!)

Slimming world is more of a lifestyle change than a 'diet' and will fit into family life

Advice - the day you join take measurements (& photos if you dare!) & use all your syns from the start - they are there for a reason!

Ahhh that's excellent! I'm quite excited by it all if I'm honest... I'm a teacher and currently off for the summer so I'm figuring it may be easier to start whilst I'm off because that's usually the time when I struggle!

Amyjay - I would also recommend you get a Countdown course then there will be no excuse for not going because you've paid up front as you get a week free when you pay for 6 in advance (6 weeks for price of 5) or 2 free when you pay for 12 in advice (12 weeks for price of 10). You'll also get an extra booklet which includes some money off vouchers, although not sure what they are. Anyway good luck.

I had my WI this morning and had a STS, had expected a small loss as, although had more Syns than I should have done last weekend I reined it back in over the rest of the week and had less than 100 Syns overall so within allowance.

Hopefully this week will be easier as I'm at home this weekend rather than away (1st time for about 6 weeks, I think).

    Having a Green day today:

    B - selection of fruit
L - Jacket potato with garlic and chive flavoured Quark
D - Bean and sausage casserole - 1 syn per portion.

    HEA - milk
    HEBs - Ryvita & cheese
    Syns - Dinner 1; Snack-a-Jack 2.5; Mini Milk 1.5 = 5. May have a glass of wine (6 syns) or a small bottled shandy later (3 syns)

had a bit of an up and down week but got 1lb off tonight, pleased with that :) now 3 stone 2.5 lbs off :j
