My Lord, they really are dirty little s l u t s aren't they? I've gone right off them, I'm not into that sort of thing
I feel a bit achy this morning. In the tops of my legs, and the bottom of my back. It's the bike rides. Once around the village is a 2.5 mile loop, so I plan on doing it once in week one, twice in week two, three times in week three etc all the way through the six week summer holidays. It's taking me about 15 mins. And I'm really puffed. SO unless I get a bit quicker, I'll be cycling for 1.5 hrs in week 6!
Lots of you are doing very well, I'm inspired by your loses. Have to decide wether to weigh myself once a week too. I HATE the scales. They always really upset me. Then I binge. If I've lost lots I reward myself with a binge, if I've lost a little I console myself with a bingeBut I think I should bite the bullet and just do it.
I'm overweight, I need to get over it  Good luck today peopleSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Pink 'n' whites are really sweet and easy to eat on the train. They are 2.5 syns each but you can make them last quite a long time. They're also reasonably cheap to buy - often available in £1 shops for pack of 14, I think they're also that price in Iceland. Mr T's and Mr A's do smaller packs of 6 for about 50p as well.
Grapes are also often very sweet and easy to eat and, of course, Free.
Good luck with SW.

Grapes are also often very sweet and easy to eat and, of course, Free.
Syns however bear no logic. You say grapes are free and yes grapes have some good qualities but they also have a lot of sugar in the form of fructose which is metabolised as a fat in the body. Not only that but fructose is a real enemy of people trying to control diet. It seems that SW is syning calories from essential fats and not syning calories from bad sugars.
Could this explain why people hit a wall and have to start running to stay still or give up and yo yo or worse still binge?I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0 -
So we're not to eat any fruit now? Just !!!!!! off until you know what you're talking about!! Syns don't 'weigh' anything. Syns aren't full of 'essential' fats - they are biscuits, crisps, alcohol, chocolate etc etc. You're full of cr&p - not us!!0

All the things you list there are just calories which the body will happily suck up and store. small wonder so many of you hit a wall and yo yo.
Have you not noticed that naturally slim people eat what they like and dont diet? There is a reason that they stay naturally slim and it isnt down to counting calories or even syns. i could explain it for you and save you a lot of money but I think you are so brainwashed into eating things your body does not want or need so I wiould be wasting my time.I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. Lol, you know what youre talking about?? Could have fooled me. You have no idea how slimming world works & you have no intention of finding out - you just go around suppoert threads 'preaching' to people. SW isn't all about syns - that's the smallest part of it, but why should I explain that to someone who is SO brainwashed that no-one else is allowed a view of their own!0

Isn't this thread getting feisty!
So was pretty bold last night few G & T's and a Curly Wurly. Did my walk though so at least that's something.
Today I'm having
B: Yogurt
L: veg, pasta and homemade sauce - 2 Baby BelMassive Open Tuna Sandwich - Have a bit of a tuna obsession going on at the mo!!! :rotfl:

Well, last night went well. Moules without drinking the sauce for 5 syns, and a sirloin steak wih a green salad and no sauce/dressing though I did succumb to 2 glasses of Rose
17 syns in total yesterday
Today I had a breakfast meeting and ballsed up. I chose the Poached Egg with avocado and Chili thinking that Avocado was a free food, and some multigrain toast (they didn't have wholemeal). Turns out that this meal was 15.5 syns by itself and it's only 10am! The menu is online ( http://www.thebreakfastclubcafes.com/brunch )(they all are!) and I can't think what I should have picked - I need to get better at this!
In my favour I only had 5.5 syns in total on Monday and Tuesday so I'm netting out at 12 per day so far, but it's disappointing not making the right choices, even when you think you have. Except the wine, which I know was bad, though she had thoughtfully ordered the bottle before I arrived and I couldn't let a lady get sozzled alone whilst piously sipping sparkling water.
I should point out that I don't spend my life in restaurants, but in the words of Steve McCroskey from Airplane "Looks like I picked the wrong week to join Slimming World". We're hosting a BBQ for 30 people on Saturday, then it's my birthday next week...
Should I start again in August?0 -

:rotfl:For heavens sake Catt just ignore him!! We know what we're doing, we know the sort of person he is, you should just feel sorry for him like I do
Let's be honest, most of us on here are girlies. Can you imagine anything less attractive in a male than someone who goes onto a slimming support thread and even bothers to comment let alone comment in a negative way, continually, even when it's been made clear that their comments are unwelcome?
He seriously needs to get a life/wife/blow up dollyAh bless
