Hi all,
The weekend was a bit of a disaster, on Saturday I spent 50 odd syns  Breakfast was fruit, all superfree, great. But it was a really hot day and I reckon I drank a litre of apple juice - 20 syns! I took my own wholemeal bread roll for lunch, but the meats they'd bought are ones I don't like, so I was restricted to cheeseThe evening meal was sausages, so I had veggie stew and another wholemeal roll instead. There were 2 members having birthdays, so icecream and cake was bought. I resisted these, having strawberries and greek yog instead. Two tins of cider at 18 syns and the extra cheese and bread just took me way off plan.
The breakfast in the B&B was ok, except the mushrooms sauteed in a whole pack of butter (but d@mn they were tasty!). I passed on the fried bread, hash brown and sausage to my companion. I stuck to drinking water, so far fewer syns. Lunch was the same, since I don't eat lamb I had cheese, but only a little bit, maybe 60g? Chilli, rice and salad when I got home saved the day lol.
We ended up leaving early as I was exhausted and starting to feel really poorly, but I'm chuffed at how much I managed given its only really 3 weeks since I left hospital. I've had a lazy day to recover, popped out to Asda for some fresh bits, that's tuckered me out so I'm laid on the sofa with a cup of tea
B - Allinson high fibre white, 1 slice toasted with banana
L - really late breakfast so just some cherries
D - chicken chow mein, I'll syn some cornflour to make a sauce
Drinks are my lovely lemony water, tea & coffee so syns from sugar in that. I've totally switched to 1% milk, I can't taste the difference between that and semi!
Welcome to all the newbies, and restarters! We can do it, a pound at a time
Oh, and please do not feed the trolls:rotfl:

I agree on Philli sauces being high but not so bad when you divide by 3 or 4.I've heard a little goes a long way.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I always found a Thursday class to be best - it means you can relax a 'tad' at the weekend & be very good for 4 days (which was easier for me at work!)0
