    Skint_Catt,

I bet they use full fat yog as well, naughty people :) I was distraught there for a bit LOL

Full fat yogurt is miles healthier than zero or low fat in most cases. When they take the fat out they pack it with sugars and / or sweeteners like aspartame and you really dont want that.

Do you do Slimming World? Do you understand the plan? You're far from Mr Helpful coming on here preaching to eat full fat products! I know the problems with aspartame & poisoning but it is my choice to ignore it at this time.

    Please leave the thread.

The plan is flawed if it means poisoning your body isnt it. Certain fats are essential to losing weight in the long term.

Certain fats ARE included in the plan so your ignorance is showing! You really shouldn't discuss what you don't know/understand.

Until they ban aspartame in this country, or SW change their practices that is the way that things work. We are just trying to get on with our lives & suggest you get on with yours - you're targeting the wrong people if you want to do something about ingredients in food & drink. Get lost or I will report your unhelpful posts.

I share your concerns about artificially sweetened foods, as a chemist by training I have reservations about the longterm health effects. However, the health problems caused by obesity are much better documented. If eating muller light helps those following Slimming world achieve a healthy weight then I think on balance that's acceptable risk.

I will personally be limiting the amount of artificially sweetened foods I consume, but that's my choice. I make no judgements on others.

Finally, the product under discussion was 0% fat Greek yogurt which is plain. Nothing but milk proteins and lacto bacilli. Do try to be fully informed before launching, your ignorance was showing

As a chemist you should be honest and point out to people that the body will often wrap up toxins in fat cells because fat is a good buffer.
I think most greeks would be horrified by 0% fat. having just been to Crete I cant say my greek yogurt was as you state. It would have been nice also if you used your so called knowledge to point out that many artificial sweeteners are associated with WEIGHT GAIN not loss
One problem with diets is you are not looking at the financial incentives of the diet creator.. Slimming world, weight watchers etc could just write a few page manual with all you need to know and away you go but they dont want you to know how to be slim and stay slim, because that would not creat the income that it does. This means that the most important part of getting slimmer as far as I can see from all these threads has been left out and to be frank hasnt been put into the training of their reps either

Oh that our occasional and most unwelcome poster would do the same!

I'm off out for the day. I don't know what food arrangements for lunch will be but plenty of water will be consumed!!!

Having an EE day today - but only because I need to use up the leftovers from last night and DH didn't want to take it to work as he usually does - it's got too many courgettes in for him. Not surprising really seeing as it's a courgette gratin:rotfl:.

B - last of my SW quiche (getting fed up with it now have been eating for a few days for lunch!)
    L - Leftover courgette gratin
D - spag bol - bolognaise from freezer, full of SF veg & lentils as well as extra lean mince

    Syns - 10g of mozzella - 2; ice lolly - 3
Drinks - tea, coffee, diet drinks & water
Snacks - banana, cherries, grapes, strawberries
    HEA - milk in tea
    HEB - not sure yet

WI for me tomorrow - really hope I've lost this week as it's been a while since I've lost anything and had a couple of gains recently too.

I could tell the Troll that I know 100% that aspartame WASN'T the reason I got fat, but he won't listen seeing as he's the only one who's right in the world :rotfl::wall:

Drinking lots of water today as I'm melting in the heat though I refuse to complain as the winter will be here soon enough! :D

Just had a nice relaxing brunch while my dd naps - egg, bacon, mushrooms & tomato :)

Have lots of mushrooms to use preferably tonight so does anyone have any good receipes except for omelette? Something with noodles would be nice :D Thanks

    C xx
