Dont worry. research has shown artificial sweeteners make you fat anyway and most of them can cause serious health issues. Aspartame poisoning anyone?

yes i have read that artificial sugar can raise your blood sugar so not good for diabetics neither. i do need to find something, tho i do only have sugar in my coffee, but i need to up my fluids besides just drinking milk. i looked at those no added sugar drinks but found everyone i looked at used artificial sugars

Acesulfame K and aspartame make up 75% of all complaints to the FDA. I certainly wouldnt put aspartame in a hot drink either. you can find what it breaks down to by using google. Not nice

My 3rd weigh in today and even after the "fishfinger sandwich incident" and the "stawberry gelato sundae incident"........

    :o

Well, if an ice-cream parlour opens 10 minutes walk from your door, it would be rude not to support it.......wouldnt it????

    ;)

I am actually down another 2lbs today :D

And been 100% back on track for the last few days so fingers crossed I can keep it up!

Good luck to all the other Monday weigh-ers :T
  • I really must shave my legs now we have warm weather. Surely that must lose me a pound or 2?? ;)

    RE certificates

In my region all of the consultants do certificates and stickers - i think it is a major part of the whole plan - i loved getting my stickers & certificates & proudly displayed them on my kitchen cupboards :-)

I am still following you guys - but not posting much due to bean growing & me not really following the plan - but i have been better in recent weeks due to my body totally rejecting grease (hot fat) - gallstone attacks & vomitting are not pleasant - but looking on the brighter side alot of people say that a gallstone attack is worse pain than labour - if thats the case i should breeze through labour quite well lol

RE favourite meals - at the moment i am loving mushroom rissotto (with the dried mushrooms aswell), chilli con carne & cottage pie or tuna pasta bake (quite high in syns as i use a tin of condensed mushroom soup as the sauce!)

Keep up the good work everyone x

    Good to 'see' you nessie.:)

I don't think your weight gain is too bad. With my DD I gained 1 stone but after she was born I'd lost about half a stone. I think that was because she was a breech and laying her head on my stomach so I couldn't face eating most days!:rotfl:

Except for the tuna with soup sauce, all your meals sound SW friendly I'm sure you'll get back into it very soon.

    How long to go?

Not been too bad over the weekend, especially as I went to the local County Show and there were some food and drink samples to try! My total syns from Friday to Sunday was 55 so only 10 over, easy enough to pull back over Monday to Wednesday before WI Thursday morning.

    Having a Red day today

    B - Fruit n Fibre (HEB1) with milk (HEA1). Cherries, strawberries
L - Crustless quiche with beetroot, pickled onions, baby gherkins
D - Tesco Light Choices Cumberland sausages (0.5 syn each), new pots (HEB2), veg (not sure what yet but maybe frozen mixed veg)

    HEA2 - milk in tea

Syns - sausages, will probably have 2 so 1 syn; Iceland Fruit Split lolly 3 syns

Snacks - fruit, crustless quiche if needed

Drinks - tea, NAS lemon squash, diet tonic
