I've just made the sticky hoisin sausages for the group party tomorrow morning and they're lush - a bit spicy but not too spicy - so that's an extra 1/2 syn for today - just hope I don't pick at too many more or there'll be none left for tomorrow!

It's from the SW website but they use cocktail sausages (no idea which ones) and they come out at 1.5 syns each on Red or EE or 2 syns on Green.

Ingredients:
20 pork cocktail sausages - I used pkt BGTY cumberland cut in 4
2 level tbsp hoisin sauce
4 tbsp tomato pur!e
4 tbsp dark soy sauce
¼ tsp sweetener
¼ tsp dried red chilli flakes

Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a dish and then put the cut up sausages and turn to coat. Try to get them into a single layer.

Cook in a pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees. I turned them in the sauce halfway through cooking although to ensure they were coated more evenly.

Once cooked place onto baking parchment (or greaseproof paper). As I need to take them to group tomorrow I actually removed them from the dish using cocktail sticks (also stops you getting sticky fingers!)

They can be served hot, warm or room temperature.

• Hi all

Firstly had a loss last night 4 lbs over the moon so that's 1 lb more to lose and I am right where I was before the bit of yo yoking if there is such a word
Exactly 7lbs from my 2 stone award and my target amount

We had a food tasting last night and the food was gorgeous strangely no one made sweet which was just a coincidence and unlike our gang one of the people made the most fantastic scotch eggs ever

They contained a full quail egg some of the slimming sausages meat breadcrumbs got to see if I can get you the recipe they were fantastic as the whole egg was in the middle

Not been able to work since Monday as issues with email etc so reckon that contributed to the loss the stress of it

Also wedding is now totally confirmed band booked etc most important bit for irish wedding ;-)

Wedding in uk as I living here 23 years same time frame as in Ireland and less people coming over

I have realised that I will lose weight between now and then with the stress and grief people putting on us trying to call the shots but thankfully one of things with being 46 is it has less effect than it would have done earlier and OH and I will have wedding we want not what others want :-)

Do you roast them all together mildredd, that sounds like a lovely side dish?

:Tmagic, you must give us a blow by blow account of wedding plans as they happen. Would you want more than 2 stone if you lose the next 7lbs quickly?

Made a start on the Christmas decs, will do the rest over the next day or so. Took my DGD shopping for stuff for her mum, felt quite festive in the city centre.

Had no lunch:(, was tempted in town but resisted.:D Pork casserole does have syns in sauce but not too bad shared with DH. WI for me tomorrow, hoping to have gained 1.5lbs but if not I'll just have to pay.

Did anyone hear the news item about an apple a day being good for preventing cardio-vascular disease? I think it's really any fruit and veg. Good news for us on SW.:)

Thank you for sharing the recipe! looks lovely - something different to make over xmas time :)

Plans for tea have changed - late home due to bad weather/traffic and got soaked so still trying to warm up and decided rather than cook two separate meals for tea, I'll have the same as my OH and just treat today as a flexi syn day. Back on plan tomorrow.

Stay warm and safe everyone x

Do you always cook separate things for yourself and OH? In the 3+ years I've been doing SW we've both eaten the same things. If he doesn't like/want what I put in front of him he's quite welcome to cook himself something:rotfl:.

If he wants anything during the evening he usually just eats biscuits - I only buy custard creams 'cos I don't like them so means I can be good:A.

Maman - yep just quarter the onions and the peppers and slice the carrots into biggish batons - fry lite a baking sheet and throw em on then a couple of squirts on top so they don't dry out and throw in the oven

My dinner was lovely :) 3 syns including mayo I'm impressed with that for the flavour was like it came from a take away :) will do that again :)

Had a slice of birthday cake and coz I can't estimate syns what I'm going to do is count it in the 30 I had set aside for yesterday and didn't have as I saved 13 from my cider ;) hopefully it'll work out
Don't like this not knowing precise syns :s

Plan for tonight is dd to bed and then watch the great British bake off Christmas special from last night

Having a crap day emotionally and heads getting battered from texts from an ex so trying to focus on food is harder than normal
