Evening all, and many thanks for the warm welcome.

Happy birthday Mildredd. It was mine on Sunday, and I agree about birthdays near Christmas being hard to organise anything socially. The only benefit was many years ago (when I had a life!) my employers used to hire a local nightclub usually the week of my b/day, sometimes on the day, so I always claimed that was my birthday party.

Well, today I wasn't sure if I was going to do a green day, then after absent mindedly stuffing a couple of slices of turkey slices into my mouth, and planning a chicken & bacon pasta bake, I thought I'd best go with EE.

    Today's plan:
    B - Milk HEx A, Porridge HEx B + extra porridge 41/2 syns 1tsp sugar 1 syn
L - Super Rice, Mixed baked beans, tomatoes, leeks, 1 seriously strong cheddar bite 4 syns
D - wholewheat pasta, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, pasta sauce 4 syns
Supper - Muller Greek yogurt 1/2 syn
    Total syns: 15

Unusual for me to use so many syns, but I had the cheese at lunchtime thinking I'd be getting 2 HExA. Ho-hum, just about salvaged that.

I spent the morning putting up decorations inside & out, cleaning, and tidying up the house. I was so warm I had to open the windows, so hoping that counts as about 3 hrs of body magic.

I had some visitors today and gave them gingerbread and Christmas cake, but resisted having any myself.

We've run out of fruit hence none eaten today, so will stock up on some more tomorrow, and I will be much healthier as a result.

As for suggestions for the new thread name, I like the idea of New Year, New You, or Healthy, Happy New Year. I imagine anyone hunting for the thread will find it using Slimming World as the search.

    Hi everyone
Thanks for your kind words. Full of cold today :( it's been a bit of an effort to eat or do anything at all- I stayed in my onesie and my Lipsy robe until 6.30- uhoh! But I have managed to eat quite well. I'm off to spend a couple of days with mumma from tomorrow- she's coming down tomorrow and then were off to London on Thursday- but she's on SW too so won't be tempted to be naughty :)

    Today's menu:
B: 2 Tesco Wheat Biscuits (HEXB) HEXA skimmed milk on cereal and in coffee, chopped banana
L: Kippers, Uncle Ben's golden veg microwave rice (2.5 syns) cherry Mullerlight, kinder chocolate (3.5 syns) pint of NAS cordial
T: Jacket sweet potato, a little light spread (1 syn) beans, tuna. Half a melon. Pint of NAS cordial.
    Syns: 7
Hope everyone's ok. Night all x

:xmastree:The scales this morning tell me that I've eaten Frogga :o

mine will tell me I've eaten a box of frogga's - head is not in the right place atm and I've gone completely to pot since last thursday.. is it because I've a week off so not weighing in till boxing day.. or just fed up.. or just plain greedy!?

am so mad with myself and keep saying today will be a new start but then go and stuff my face.. has to stop or that fabled 10lb christmas gain will have been left behind with bells on.. :(

i'll join in the next challenge if that's ok :)

I can't sleep so thought I would pop on and share my menu for today.

I will be having fruit and muller lite for breakfast.

Lunch is leftover salad from yesterday and tea will be SW chips/ with fried eggs, possibly peppers and mushrooms - if it isn't SW chips then I might do stir fry but I fancy comfort food tonight. Usually when I have sw chips, that's all I have (lots of them!) but I want to try and up my superfree this week.

I have my work christmas party this week (the day before weigh in!) so I hope to be good in the run up to this so that I can at least see a maintain on the scales this week. I have an idea of meal plans but need to get something down on paper. I can't believe one week this time next week and it will be Christmas day. It seems so near yet so far?!

We are getting close folks, this time next week I will be in bed - woo hoo.

Can't wait to finish work, hoping to get lots of walking done over Christmas in between the relaxing etc.

I ordered an aerobic step and that has arrived so I will be putting that to good use soon too :)

So had my fajitas last night and gave in to temptation and bought a pack of wraps - I did only have one though and no other bread product yesterday so hoping will be ok.

Made some chilli last night as well - best one I've ever made, so that dinner for the next two nights is sorted :)

So much easier when you are organised isn't it.

Skint catt - chin up hun, I know myself from experience the affect medications can have on your appetite - just concentrate on doing what you can for now.

    Mildredd - Happy birthday

To the losers well done - hope to be one this week lol

Shala - great job with the chart - I dread to see the size of it come Jan lol

Had today all planned out as a Red day and then realised I would have been having 3 HEBs and 1 HEA so have had to change it a bit and my sandwich at lunchtime is going to be synned!

B - porridge made with water; Mullerlight toffee & banana
L - Lots of ham & 1 Tbs of picalilli in a WW Danish white sandwich - 6 syns
D - 3 x HM mini Toad in the Hole; jacket potato; brussels & green beans - HEB + 3 syns
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day

Will probably have a fruit split lolly this evening - 3 syns

Have got a satsuma and/or a banana to having during the day if I want one but not much else snackwise.

We've got our Christmas party at WI tomorrow so I'm making to Sticky Hoisin sausages using Sainsbugs BGTY cumberland sausages. I'll cut each sausage into 4 and the syns will work out at 2 pieces for half syn which I think it quite good.
