Hi everyone, I recognise a few friendly faces in here, so wanted to join in. :hello:
I re-joined SW 4 weeks ago, along with my sister, as we both wanted to lose weight that has been steadily creeping back on. She has done really well, with an 11lb loss so far. Mine has been a bit slower, with a 5lb loss so far. I lost more than that in the first week of joining last time around about 3 years ago, so I have been a bit disappointed, but I'm sticking with it, and trusting it WILL work, even if it's slowly. My progress has been: Wk1 1lb, Wk2 31/2lb, Wk3 1/2lb, Wk4 STS.
I've joined in with previous SW threads before, and lose weight threads (waves to Beanie  ) and know how lovely and supportive you can be. My SW group is rather small, and those who stay to the meetings seem to be quite new, so I'm struggling to pick up some tips and inspiration, whereas I know I can find that here.
So, that's my little intro. A bit of background about me if you want it in brief is: I'm late 40's, mum of 4 (but only 2 left at home and both in school), short and dumpy  Determined to be short and petite before I'm 50!
Today's food has not been fabulous, but I have been out for the day with my lovely (slim & fit) OH for the day, so I was determined lunch should be SW friendly.
B - porridge HEx B + extra porridge 5 syns, milk from HEx A
L - Baked potato, bacon, chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, ketchup 1, and I'm making an allowance of 3 syns in case they used any oil.
D - satsuma, Muller Greek 0% yogurt 1/2 syn
TOTAL= 91/2 syns
I didn't feel like eating anything else for dinner, because lunch played my tummy up. I think the bacon was rather cheapand my poor tummy has been paying the price ever since.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Welcome back to Becks & Sarymclary. I'm going for a Green day again today as DH fancies cauli cheese for dinner and I've worked out a way of doing it without using a white sauce which is really tasty!
B - porridge with Mullerlight Vanilla; tinned pears
L - HM Three pepper soup
D - Cauli cheese
HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - 40g reduced fat cheese
HEB1 - 35g porridge
HEB2 - tinned pears (mainly because I haven't got any fruit until I go shopping this evening when DH gets home from work!)
Syns - 1 slice of WW Danish bread 2.5; not sure if I'll have anything else but possibly a lolly this evening 3. Don't want to have too many syns as have had quite a few over the weekend!

RFD - the sauce isn't really a recipe as such! It's just a K*orr vegetable stock pot (which gives it a really good flavour - not sure a cube would have the necessary flavour IYKWIM) made up to 300ml with boiling water. Put 25g of Carrs sauce flour (or cornflour) into a small saucepan, pour in the veg stock and whisk like mad until the flour has been incorporated then simmer for 3 minutes. Pour over the cooked cauliflower (in the same way you would pour over a white or cheese sauce) then sprinkle on 80g of reduced fat cheddar.
Cauliflower cheese 2 syns + HEA per portion (or 8 syns total if need to syn cheese)
