My menu today is a bit disorganised as I don't actually know whether I'm following a red/green or extra easy day ! .... but it reads something like this:

Breakfast was my HEB of bread/toast with peanut butter (estimate 5 syns for this )

Lunch was 'Look what we found' Tees Valley Beef Chilli Con Carne (1.5 syns red/EE) served with my HEA of cheese and some of my salad.

Dinner is an xmas meal so I think I will flexi syn :o and back on track tomorrow. There will be boozy syns tonight as well but I will try to limit and drink mainly diet coke as it is after all a school night.

Tomorrow, I'm planning on fruit pot or muesli (HEB) (or both) for Breakfast, Lunch tuna tin and rest of salad and slimming world chips and something for tea.

I want to try and have something different for breakfast every day this week so perhaps magic porridge on Friday and a Batheclors Deli Box Pasta for lunch. I'm not sure on Friday tea yet - may be SW chips again ?
  • Thanks... they used to be 0.5 syns so wondered how you know which is 0.5 and which is 1? sorry, I didn't make that clear!

Sainsbug's BGTY Cumberland sausages are still 0.5 syns each!

Any you buy in of the Tesco Light Choices Cumberland sausages you buy now are likely to be the 1 syn ones.

  • Shalq, can I declare this week's loss as STS please? Even though I do have a loss today but as yesterday was the official weigh in day, I have decided not to cheat and declare the loss as it was yesterday.

    Thanks

    MQ
  • Maman, I did notice yesterday that you had replied to a post of mine but for the life of me, can't find that post today :o

Anyways, i have started synnning WM chapati now onwards instead of countng it as HEXB. Thanks for that :T Though it still doesn't make sense to me. I have been using WM bread flour and only adding water to make the dough then how is it different from bread which can be counted as HEXB

I have been trying different recipes now. Had lentil and mushroom loaf today. Dh wouldn't even touch any SW recipes so following SW recipes mean double cooking for us. Hence I try limiting myself to quick meals or the ones which don't require much effort. I need to look more into this.

This week was a mix as did follow SW well on some days and was quite naughty on others. STS this week but I hope for loss next week which means staying on the plan and a bit of bodymagic

I'm sure that isn't what you meant but I certainly think you need to look into it!! Surely he wants to be helpful and it's not too difficult to adapt 'normal' recipes to SW so he might not even be able to tell the difference.

I'm off to WI in a moment. Not planning to stay to Body Magic but I might if it's not too busy. I'm curious to find out if my consultant thinks we can gain 10lbs over Christmas!

    My EE menu today:
B: NAS Ribena, scrambled egg, HEB toast, HEA milk
    L: Satsuma:o
D: (after WI) SW spaghetti Bolognese
    Syns: squirt of sauce.

I'm officially declaring that I WON'T be having a bag of crisps today!!!
