Sorry not been about in ages What a fantastic chart well done Shala and congratulations to all
Have been working flat out and just came back from the trip to Caribbean where only gained 1lb god knows how it must have been all the walking and swimming etc in the heat.
Anyway..... Wanted to share with all of you I have now got another incentive to lose the last 9lbs OH proposed on holiday and we are looking at getting married in April ;-)
I know it's only a few months away but have no doubt that will turn into stress bunny/bridezilla so better for OH sanity to have it soon :-)

I have to confess to eating au unplanned bag of crisps tonight. I did enjoy them and it was only a small bag from a multi-pack. The trouble was that earlier I was confident I might have lost a bit but now I'm feeling bloated. It has to be psychological. Tomorrow's weighing will be before supper so fingers crossed.0 -
I'll be interested to hear what's said about buffet food tomorrow. I don't find eating beforehand really works for me. I do have a meal first but even if I'm not hungry I still fancy the buffet food. I'm going to cook some half syn sausages to take with me and hope there's plenty of crudit!s (or crude bits as an old friend used to call them:rotfl:).
I'm with you there Maman - Despite eating at home first/not being hungry, I still find myself eating for the sake of eating and nicking bits of the buffet table.we did the buffet table in class a couple of weeks ago and I ended up with so many syns on my (virtual) plate, I kept quiet !!

Sorry there is no way on earth Anyone can gain 10lbs from Christmas dinner! I think that consultants twisting it somewhat?
My consultant has basically said this week
A- go off plan for 4 days expect a gain
B- go off plan for Xmas day - you might be lucky n sts or even a loss as its ONE day
C- stick to sw firmly and lose as normal
Then went on about how chippy/chineses are the busiest on Xmas eve as everyone wants to relax n not cook and everywhere s clean etc so make sensible choices
However my consultant isn't at target and regularly goes out for meals in the week but is very happy and supportive towards me atm
We had the what mindset/how are we approaching xmas last night talk and I think the ten pound gain you mention is if you ate off plan throughout the xmas period, not just xmas day. The xmas dinnner itself does have a lot of good things on the plate - its all the nibbling in between and I suppose the beverages we choose that are the problem !!0 -
Pizza was a dissappointment, which doesn't surprise me - things always taste better in your head than they do in real life, don't they?!
Does anyone know how I can cook plain pudding rice in the microwave instead of on the hob? I can find recipes for rice pudding, but just want to cook the plain rice in water before I mix in my ff yoghurt.
Didn't get to sleep until gone midnight even though I went to bed at 9.30, & then I was awake before my DD (unheard of!) though not as tired as I have been so must have slept well in between!
Still not feeling entirely positive, but I'll just keep plodding! Was thinking of Nessy last night - bet she's just very busy with the baby.
