I am sorry to hear you are not that motivated at the moment catt.. if it makes you feel any better i am the same because of *week and the time of year in general . I find it much harder than normal because of all the "xmas goodies" that all the shops have helpfully placed near the tills, the door or scattered around the aisles. Its relatively easy walking past just once but when constantly surrounded it becomes a nightmare.

Just keep plodding , and do the best you can do. If you eat a chocolate bar or 2 then so what - compare it to last year when you may have been wolfing everything & anything. Its PROGRESS :D

ETA - it depends on what you were eating as well. if you were constantly grazing on fruit/yogs than you will do better than you think. If not just try to accept the small gain (coz really 2lbs isnt that much, and you can claw this back next week) :)

Thanks rainbow - trouble is I put on 2lb last week too. Been losing/gaining the same 4/5lbs for the last 5 months - so mad at myself really. I feel like giving up now, enjoying it & restarting in January - but I've paid for classes until the beginning of Jan plus I probably could put all 2stone back on between then & now if I really went all out. :o

gets so frustrating doesn't it.. am with you catt.. I got my 3 stone award on 18th july, so since then I've been up, down and around the houses and still have 5.5lb to lose for 4 stone! :o

I get the countdowns so I have to go, know that if I think sod it i'll start again.. whenever.. that i'll go off the rails and probably pile loads back on then have to start again..

Please don't give up catt - look at how far you have come already :T.

I know I don't go to group but have you tried 'success express' - some others that have 'got stuck' on here have tried it to get the weight loss going again - it may be worth a try before things really get going for Christmas? Or, alternatively have you tried mixing up your menu a bit - sometimes that helps too.

Good luck and stick with it - the weight will start to come off again eventually :)
