Today I found a pic of me n my dd from July. I thought at the time I looked alright looking at it now compared to a couple of pics taken today n last weekend I could actually(and have) cried.
The pic I found is the pic that made me realise I needed to change as I didn't like how I looked. So I lost some weight by myself before joining sw so this pic is seriously me at my heaviest.

Just needed to post anyway as been a bit upset since getting home today about it.

And I'm slightly annoyed no ones noticed ive lost weight :@

Shala glad your okay was worried bout you x ps where boyzone good?

Big hugs chick, I hope it also showed you how far you have come on your weight loss journey. You should be so proud of the weight you've lost :T I think it's amazing!

I wouldn't worry too much about people not noticing your weight loss, they may fall into the "not noticing anyone but themselves" camp or the "not sure whether to say anything incase they offend" camp.

Weirdly, on the other hand my MIL constantly asks me if I've lost weight, I always have to say "no I've put it on!" so she just thinks it's the right thing to say!! :rotfl:

Boyzone were great, really enjoyed it and did a bit of body magic dancing away :rotfl:apparently it's been 20 years since I first started going to see them:eek: I think someone has a date mixed up somewhere cos i'm only 22 :rotfl:

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around lately I have just been reading through the posts and congratulations to everyone who has reached their target.

Please put me down for a 1/2 lb gain Shala.

I'm not too disappointed with that as I was away 2 weekend running, but I am struggling to get back on track again.I seem to have gone off fruit and veg a bit, so am substituting my super frees for mainly chocolate! Also had a day at the Christmas market so had mulled wine, cake, hog roast and chips. I did have a SW breakfast and only had a slice of toast and an apple when I got in oh and a glass of wine- so hopefully I can make up for it if I'm careful for the rest of the week.

Another busy day today,DD home for 1night as she is in London for work tomorrow, so will need to pick her up, go shopping, plan meals, do ironing, wrap up presents for posting, do Christmas cards, and we are going to the cinema tonight. Very tempted to get a takeaway tonight but will try and resist!

MUST get back into this.... I will get up now and make a SW chilli for tonight.

    Hugs to you all.

We had home cooked chinese for tea last night. I tried to keep it as low syn as possible by resisting the chinese ready meals and instead cooking stir fry with a breaded chicken piece (I estimate 7 syns each) plus the stir fry sauce (6-8 syns shared between the 2 of us) but I was most annoyed at the duck spring rolls accompaniment (tasted awful and such a waste of syns) :(

I've got the meals planned for the next few days (well main meals) so just need to work out my breakfasts and lunches.

Hoping to stay on track and get my 2 pound loss at weigh in :)

btw - would anyone have any objection if I set up a new thread? I know that as threads start to reach the 5000 mark, forum bods like new ones to be set up as larger threads slow down the servers or something?
  • Just been reading through and wanted to say to Mildredd I noticed have lost 12 lb in 6 weeks which is amazing, you have proved to yourself you can lose the weight so you shouldn't feel bad, but I thnik we can all feel like this especially when looking a pics of ourselves. I know when I look at pictures of myself or in the mirror I focus in on my problems areas, bulging tummy, spots etc. I think the reality is though that when people look at you in 'real life' they notice other things like whether you look happy, your beautiful smile, how you hold yourself, body language etc.
What I am trying to say is I bet you look fabulous darling (going all Sharon Osborne!) and don't be so hard on yourself, you are already winning the battle x:)

for Shala - +.2lb fully expected more as had a couple of takeaways as been a carp week again. Son had car crash on Wednesday (same day mum came out of Hosp) he's ok but very distressed for a couple of days. Got him back driving on Friday so hopefully will get his confidence back. Hoping insurance will say it was 50/50 but he is only 19 and other driver was mature 😈 lady who wouldn't let him take photo of her car. Will have to wait and see now.
Anyway onwards and level for me 😜 keep the faith all x
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

After the KFC lunchtime yesterday decided we didn't need another meal so mushrooms still intact - will have to find something else to do with them. Unfortunately neither of us like mushroom soup! May put the chasseur on the plan in the next day or two!

Today is an Original (Red) day for a change:

B - porridge (HEB) made with water and Mullerlight Vanilla stirred through; banana
L - fish soup (ready made so need to work out syns but hopefully not too many)
D - duck breast, baked potato, roasted carrots, cabbage & green beans. Dribble of gravy (0.5)

Will probably have a lolly this evening, as usual (3 syns)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEB1 - porridge
    HEB2 - potato

Syns: 3.5 plus whatever fish soup is (hopefully no more than 3 or so)

I've been in town to get a few food bits - annoyed as been charged twice for something. now need to trek back and get refund. Will do tomorrow I think.

Was intending just to get shopping and come home again but ended up meeting friend who treated me for lunch. Looked like it was going to be a disaster as she mentioned burger king  but luckily she decided the sit down cafe with lots of choice was the better option so I had a jacket spud with chilli and salad. Syns no doubt in the chilli and definitely in the 3 salad cream !!!! but I really enjoyed it and will try to be good for the rest of the day (steak and stir fry veg planned for tea).
