Catt - you've paid upfront go get weighed and then leave if that's what you want to do? Gain- kick up the bum, loss- motivate you again
? I don't think there's anything wrong with treading water I really don't and tbh as sw is meant to be a life long commitment truthfully how many 'normal' people don't have little extras now and then in December? It's the primal instinct in us to eat more in winter when foods sparse eat while its a available
Maybe try the satsuma challenge or off set 'naughty' food with a piece of fruit?
Our group this week was buffet food and syns - my answer of well I'd eat before I went and then eat chicken without skin and salad was apparently the wrong answer lol I should have learnt that from the session not known it before
My consultant always makes a big thing about what I've done bad during the week like she goes and what have u had off plan - and I always be truthful :@ but she never goes the rest of the week where u stuck to the plan firmly n saving your syns? Which I do I syn optimiseI've had slimmer if the week about 1/2 the time I've been going - people are keeping me in fruit
but I can see the oh it's Mildredd again faces going on
It's my birthday next week so I'd love to lose 2 this week but the temptation for naughty is here already so its not looking promising unless I get my head down and back away from the choccy biscuit tins - bogof morrisonsStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone
Hope you feel better after a good night sleep skint catt
Also wanted to say to Mildredd about your group they are obviously just jealous of you!!0 -
Having another Green day today:
B - beans on toast (HEB1)
L - not sure yet as at a "nibbles" do this morning at the golf club but will try to avoid as much as I can (the reason for the "cooked" breakfast) but maybe a mushroom omlette
D - HM cauli cheese made with thickened veg stock instead of white sauce (HEA1 - cheese)
HEA2 - SS milk
HEB2 - not sure but may swap the cheese from A to B!
Only syns so far 2 for sauce flour in sauce.

Mildredd - Ignore them, I've lost 4 stone 4 lbs and the most in my group and they are a little bit funny with me at times! Although what I would like to point out to them is that I still have 2 stone to go and I am now at the size that some of them are starting at!!
I haven't got Slimmer of the week in a long time now, but when I was getting it quite a few times people were a bit funny so I know how you feel.
Catt - Think I am just going to tread. My goal for this month is now to stay at 4 stone loss at least. We do have to enjoy Christmas and are entitled too. I had a day off yesterday and enjoyed myself eating out etc. Back on it today. I don't want to put on any weight but I won't be so strung up about losing.
I'll definitely be refocused and working at killing this last 2 stone come January! Chin up xx0 -
I have to say my group is lovely & very supportive
I am struggling big time to get back on plan.
My original plan was to have the weekend off as I was away but I am struggling to get back on plan.

Skint_Catt wrote: »Thanks rainbow - trouble is I put on 2lb last week too. Been losing/gaining the same 4/5lbs for the last 5 months - so mad at myself really. I feel like giving up now, enjoying it & restarting in January - but I've paid for classes until the beginning of Jan plus I probably could put all 2stone back on between then & now if I really went all out.

Don't worry you will start again losing I was at the end of my tether a while ago it had took me over twelve months and I had only lost 2 lb toing and froing. Was good at the golf club this morning and only ate 2 little triangle sandwiches on wholemeal - so counted as 0.5 HEB for the bread and filling was free as it was sliced egg & cucumber (was made by one of the members who has done SW previously, although I think she's maintaining now so whenever I see her she tends to eat what she wants!). Only syns I had was a very small square of cake (about 1" square) so I reckon no more than 1 or 2 syns - have counted as 2.
I was at the golf club for over 3 hours and then had to do some shopping so didn't get home until 2pm and I was famished again! So used another slice of bread (0.5 HEB) to make some toast and made some scrambled egg to go on it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Today has turned out much better than anticipated. DH had suggested lunch out but as it happened we weren't hungry enough to do it justice so just had a latte.
My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: latte and two cold potatoes when I got home.;)my version of chicken jumbalaya (chicken, rice and loads of veg)
Syns: squirt of syrup, latte?
I'll be interested to hear what's said about buffet food tomorrow. I don't find eating beforehand really works for me. I do have a meal first but even if I'm not hungry I still fancy the buffet food. I'm going to cook some half syn sausages to take with me and hope there's plenty of crudit!s (or crude bits as an old friend used to call them:rotfl:).0 -
I need to give up Diet Coke too - thanks Shala!
Thanks for all your support. Not been too good today, depression wise. Hubby's away a lot at the moment & although DD's behaviour is better I'm really struggling just to get anything out of life. I haven't eaten all day & just ordered a pizzaWill plan tomorrow now & hopefully might rein something in before I end up where I started
I think January 1 2014 might be my turning point (new years resolutions & all that - new year, new start), but I really hope that I can keep some modicum of control until then.
