My menu's have been all over the place this week as I've had a cold so either not eaten, or grabbed whatever I fancy & was easily talked into a takeaway curry last night :o I must plan properly for next week & see what I can do as Christmas is drawing ever closer!!

    I do plan to redeem myself, however & have had;
B; fruit salad & ff yogurt
L; leftover hm chicken curry & rice
    D; cottage pie & veggies
Plus lots of sf squash to wash everything out before Tuesday ;)

    C xx
  • Well done Skint_Catt on trying to redeem yourself.

I am sat at work snacking on roast beef and pickled onions, just checking that is allowed?

    My plan today:
B - HEXA and B Weetabix and milk
L - Jacket potato with cottage cheese and salad
D - Bacon, eggs, SW chips and beans
Snacks - roast beef and pickled onions
Syns - extra milk (2), muller crunch corner (4), possibly something else but will see how I feel.
Drinks - tea, lots of it (but decaf) and NAS vimto, hot and cold :)

Somebody just mentioned pastrami is very good and low fat, is this free on slimming world?

Thanks flutterby - yes the beef & pickled onions is fine as long as the beef was cooked sw way (no oil, etc) I love picking on wafer thin ham :D

Roast beef & pickled onions are both Free so you can enjoy as much as you like, as well as pastrami which is also Free (I've just checked the website as wasn't sure because it's not something I've ever had!).

    Denise

PS Editing to say Skint beat me to it - must have known about the pastrami and not had to look it up, LOL!

Lantanna - Im barely hanging in there truthfully
Was good yesterday and so far today - having low syn days hoping to counteract the bad from Monday and weds x
I don't know I feel really disheartened - have been eating a vast amount of baked beans as an attempt to speed things up xxx
Trying to reign it in and failing miserably keep sneaking bits of dds leftovers

Just ordered a ridiculously expensive pair of boots
To get over the fact I've gone up a size in a gap jumper :@ loose 2 stone jumper size goes up :@

I don't know what to suggest if I'd enjoyed a binge I'd take a gain but when I hadn't binged its hard to accept?

And people who say well its only 1/2 a pound can pee off if I lose 1/2 its a good thing and celebrated so don't dismiss it as nothing :@

Lantanna I'm beginning to wonder if its part of muscle being built as my size 16's I've just not long bought have definitely gone looser on the legs, bum and waist?

In fact I'm going to take that excuse and use that its not that I haven't lost fat I've built muscle ;)

  • Hi all,
I am still doing ok food wise, but I am at the beginning of a cold :(, and have a bit of a cough starting. I hate feeling ill and will have to be careful to stay away from the comfort food!

We are off to see Bill Bailey this evening at Wembley (we live close by fortunately), but I would rather stay at home with a hot water bottle and a book.

Chin up to all those who are struggling this week, I try to think of it as a journey not a race, we will all get there in the end we just need to keep moving forwards :).

Congrats to all the losers :T.

Have a fab weekend everyone :D.
