    I've got a work meal tomorrow I can't get out of :(

Could you guys try and help me pick an option that would be lowest syns from the menu?
    http://www.bungabunga-london.com/menus/pizzeria_menu.pdf

    Thank you in advance xx

King prawns with chilli gremolata would be my choice, but I know a lot of people not keen on prawns!
Lamb skewers if you stay away from the bread which is traditionally served with them (probably brushed with olive oil but won't be dripping in it)
Tricolore salad, syn or leave avocado & HEa the mozzerella
or, as said, the frittata or seared tuna :D

    C xx

    Is here just...

So pleased to hear that. Hopefully you'll get back on track very soon.:)

I'm still having problems with smilies but can cut and paste them. Feels good to be back on track today. I've had skinny (small size 12) jeans on the last couple of days. Today I'm slopping around in an ancient pair of size 14 so it's making me feel positively thin.:D All on track today. Won't post menu as now computer wont let me start new lines. All a bit random!

I would opt for the tuna with fresh mint pesto. Other options to consider are the king prawns, the chicken escalope milanese (take off the bread crumb topping when it comes to the table). Order a massive side of veggies. Third option is the frittata - both the red pepper/goats cheese ) and the zuccini ( courgette) fritatta with the aoili (this is similar to a hollandaise i think) . You could ask them to the sauce in a jug?

  • I am not having a great day today. Started off well and has gone down hill (work colleagues bought pizza/garlic bread at lunch). Had a couple of slices of the garlic bread :o

Green (again :(- too poor for red days/EE)

b - magic porridge (hex b) with vanilla mullerlight & pineapple
l - quinoa with satay sauce (3), sweetcorn, quorn chicken & mushrooms
D - Veggie omelette with hex a cheese & sweet potato chips

Snacks - options hot choc (2), the 2 x slices of garlic bread. That maybe all as i am stuffed at the moment & dont want to think about food.

L - Jacket potato with beans and cucumber, muller greek style yoghurt (1/2 syn)
    Snack so far - banana
D - Salmon with asparagus and sweet chilli sauce (1 syn), with broccoli, carrots and potatoes, muller crunch corner (4 syns).

Going for a Mexican for our works Christmas do at Chiquitos - wondered what my best option will be as not really sure? Fajitas would be good without the wrap I guess lol. Any pointers guys?

    Steak with rice and salad.
Sizzle plates ask to be cooked in little oil on griddle as possible.
Stay away from the wraps there very high syns - if you have fajitas i ask if i can swap the wraps for rice
5 bean chilli is 6.5 syns (minus guacamole/sourcream etc)

sorry i did make some assumptions there! I only do EE so my comments were based upon that. I dont follow/understand green or red so maybe someone can help out........:o

It's only free on Green or EE (assuming no bacon). Beans have to be synned on a Red day.

    HTH.

Went to WI this morning and couldn't believe it when the scales showed a 2.5lb loss! After the amount I ate yesterday I thought if I was lucky I might scrape a 0.5 or 1lb loss this week. So really pleased with that.

Mustn't get complacent though as, although still in target range, I am a pound over actual target - would love to get nearer bottom end before Christmas as will be off for at least 3 weeks, and might even be 4 weeks (haven't counted actual Thursdays yet!)

    Today is a Green day:

    B - Banana
Snacks at Group taster morning - 4 syns - some really nice free and low syn buffet items this morning and not a rice or pasta salad in sight:T - we seem to get of lot of these at our taster mornings usually!
    L - Egg mayo sandwich - HEB1, 2 syns for mayo
    D - Jacket potato, beans, cheese HEA1

HEA2 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB2 - 2 or 4 original Ryvita depending on how hungry I feel, 3.5 syns for butter

Will probably also have an ice lolly 1 syn

Total syns for the day: 10.5

Rainbow fairy dust - I've been to Chiquitos twice whilst doing Sw. Both times I had the Chicken Fahitas and only ate one wrap.

I used my Cheese as HE and only had a bit of the sour cream and salsa. Tbh though they hardly give you any now so not big portions of it.

I also split a portion of onion rings the last time I was there as a treat and they were yum and I lost both those weeks.

My advice - give yourself the night off, enjoy yourself and get back on it the next day. Works for me
