I thought 1 slice of toast inc spread would be 6 syns or is is 6 just for bread.
    Anyway thanks for correcting me,:D

Depends on the bread! One bread slice alone can range from 3 - 8 syns.

Starting to cut down on portion sizes a tad - not that we were having a lot before, but I'm hoping it'll make a bit of difference to my losses.

FIL still in hospital which has ruined our weekend (that sounds very heartless but seeing as there's nothing wrong with him, I'm actually very annoyed with the hospital! ) DD a little better but still really grumpy & has a meltdown at the slightest thing which I'm finding very wearing.

I've also joined a facebook group called
Slimming world lifeline support group on food and tips

which I hope will give me some fresh new idea's :)

Hugs to all whether you're on a roll, or falling off the waggon ;)

  • Did some Christmas shopping today, trying to find some lunch is a bit of a nightmare when you need to do "fast food", fortunately we found a Spud-U-Like (didn't even know they still existed), so had jacket spud and baked beans. Have to say those Branson beans they use are pretty tasteless.

This evening however I have been craving decent crusty white bread, and so I had 2 large slices, with pate (lower fat one at least) and I have really enjoyed it :D. It is my first time off plan so I m not going to beat myself up about it.

    Tomorrow is a new day.

Shala you missed me off, week three 1 1/2Lb off. Thank you :)

    Hi All,

    Am still hopping :D

Have been so very busy and it's not going to get any easier just yet. Had our village fayre yesterday. There were cakes, and mince pies everywhere, but I resisted :j I even baked 72 mince pies without trying a single one :T I'm so good.
This coming week we have the school fayre, and then the church (no, I know I'm an athiest, but I'm helping out as I believe in my friends and they need a hand) so it's busy baking again.

I look like I've been doing rubbish on the chart, but I've been good!! Can't wait to see what my total is on Friday 20th December :DShala can you write something in my row like 'awaiting final weigh in' or 'not weighing til 20th' or something?? Or is it only a numbers box? I'm embarrassed that people think I've given up :o When I really haven't, I just can't weigh since the tadpoles broke the scales  You've done amazingly well with the chart, and I expect I'm being an awkward sod, just ignore me :o

Hope you are all well, off now to walk the hounds and watch the sun come up.

    Love you all  xxxxxxxxxx

  • Sweetcheekz - nandos is fairly low syn for fast food? 3.5 for the butterfly chicken (possibly free if u remove the skin but I count it as 3.5 even without skin) corn is free, salad is free, spicey rice is 3.5? Diet coke free? Sauces 1 syn a table spoon :)
Nandos is my place of fast food choice these days xxx
