    Hi everyone
Thanks so much for the kind wishes. I'm just trying to face up to the fact its becoming increasingly likely I'm not going to return to work. I've worked in some capacity for 17 years and although I was pretty poorly for virtually all my 20's I've never been as ill as I have been these last few years. I feel utterly helpless and very very down about it as I loved my job but I don't have the strength to do it any more. I have some very big conversations with people coming up imminently and I'm going to try requesting redeployment to see if that gets me anywhere but if it doesn't I think it'll be the capability route. :( Part of me is tempted to say sod it I'm going back whether I'm fit to or not but I did that after my hysterectomy last year and I think that's why I'm in the state I'm in. I've got multiple problems going off now and no strength left to fight them :(

Thank you everyone. I'm sorry I'm a bit of a misery guts at the minute!

    Menu for today:
B: Fresh blackberries and raspberries, cherry Mullerlight, coffee with skimmed milk (1/2 a syn - I need my HEXA for something else ;))
L: (I know this is a strange mix but it felt really comforting and stodgy - filled me up lovely) Scrambled eggs, sardines in tomato sauce, beans and Uncle Ben's Golden Veg rice (2.5) NAS squash, banana
T: Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni (8 syns ) steamed mixed veg, NAS squash, maybe some berries again
S: 3 Ryvita Hint of Chili (HEXB) 3 Dairylea Triangles (HEXA) maybe a MugShot if Im still hungry.
    Syns: 11
Body Magic: A walk to the post office then round to the Co-Op and then home, back to the post office and then back to the Co-Op then home - didn't switch on the pedometer app but probably about a mile. Tired today so struggled with it but had Ebay parcels to post :(
Thanks again everyone. Hope you all ok and ignore them pesky trolls (and toads ;))

Thanks beanielou, I feel I can't even talk about what's gone on today because Mr Unhelpful will butt in that it's all due to my 'diet' & tbh I've had enough tears today to last the whole of 2014!

Mildredd - a Flexiday is just that. You choose how many syns for the day, in this case 50 and then just food optimise as usual for the rest of the week. You obviously have to be prepared for a STS or a gain if you do this though so don't want to be doing it too often.

    Denise

Denise is right mildredd in what SW mean by flexi days. but I (as ever) have a tweak. I think you can get over a 50 syns meal out by saving syns so I'd do that instead if it was going to be just one meal out in the whole week. When I say I'm going flexi (generally a meal rather than days) it means that I haven't got enough syns to cover it but I'm having it anyway. I think what's absolutely essential either way is that you get back on the wagon immediately afterwards!!

Absolutely no problem MrsR. I assume in your line of work capability is about ill health. It's just that in mine it has nasty undertones of incompetence. Obviously, I don't know enough about it but perhaps focussing on getting strong (and slim) is your best course of action. It might be worth at least finding out what options there are under redeployment though.

For some reason, the smileys won't work for me tonight so posts look a bit 'preachy'. Just imagine a few!!

Oh I know, but why come on here & pick on someone who's had a !!!!! day? He's an uneducated, obnoxious narcissist - he doesn't even come on here with a genuine argument, just likes to slate us for doing something that he doesn't know anything about!
Oh, and for his information I don't 'comfort' eat (where's the one fingered smiley?)
Have requested MSE to deactivate the troll's account as he doesn't actually contribute a valid argument!

    :rotfl:love it...

Hugs to everyone, I have been reading but I get really annoyed with trolls so I try and stay away if they are about... Soz..

I'll post the results later, but I'm on my iPad at the minute, just came on to say I put on 0.5lb this week :o totally and utterly deserved and if I'm honest it should have been more!

So I have pizza scheduled for later today and then tomorrow back on it!

I'd like to lose 2.5lb to try and sneak under my stone level, but i don't think I've ever lost 2.5lb in a normal week, so maybe I'll have a mini aim for 2 weeks = 2.5lb.

Have a good healthy day everyone xxx

E.t.a. The post lady has just bought me a little parcel from Tesc0, it's a free Lindor chocolate to thank us for shopping with them  how dare they try and sabotage my goal :rotfl: I'm not eating it, I know their game!!

I've decided on a Red day today for a change:

    B - Bacon & mushroom toasted sandwich (HEB1)
    L - Carrot & coriander soup; 2 original Ryvita (0.5 HEB)
D - Salmon fillet with stirfried vegetables

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB1 - bread
    HEB2 - 4 Ryvita (2 at lunch 2 during evening)

Snacks: Syn free roulade (left out baking powder - works just as well!); mullerlight yoghurt; various fruit; carrot sticks; Ryvita with cheese (HEA/HEB)

Could really do with some hot Red day lunch ideas other than various veg soups? Anyone?

    Thanks.

    Denise
