well done on your loss :T. Yes i have to admit it was very difficult to start with but i kept saying myself in my head - do you really want this cake? How will you feel after you have eaten it? is it worth it really? So i abstained and then as more people came down to buy the cakes i would have chosen had already been bought so it became easier.

This is the 'magic pancake' recipe that I found:

    All you need is...
35g porridge oats (Healthy extra B choice or 6 syns)
    A Muller light yoghurt
    3 eggs
    Sweetener to taste.

Mix the porridge oats and yoghurt, and leave in fridge overnight.
Add the eggs and sweetener and you have your pancake mix!

Not tried it myself but people in group seem impressed. They seem to do them as little pancakes ( a bit like drop scones) rather than fill the frying pan IYSWIM.

Some more amazing losses on here and amazing restraint shown!:T

Hope you managed some sleep eventually mildredd.

I'm out for a meal tonight and tomorrow. Tonight's just a pub but tomorrow is French style bistro so looks like today will be easier to make wise choices.

I agree with what sukey and tie said about keeping on losing at target. This week I want to gain half a pound! otherwise I'll have to pay. This hovering around target weight is so difficult, not that I'm expecting sympathy. :rotfl:

    So, today's EE plan:

B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
    L: veg stir fry
D/syns: depends on my pub choices:o

Well only 0.5lb off for me this week - not doing as well as I'd hoped, but at least I'm losing rather than gaining now :) Hoping my 6 days of goodness last week will show next week if I continue well.

Not planned today, except dinner so will update later with what I sort out!

Hope you got some sleep Mildredd, well done RFD for the abstinance, Mrs Ryan that's a wonderful loss, you've certainly got this plan cracked!! :D

Nice to 'see' you back eleanorf - don't forget the salad bar at Pizza Hut - lots of SF in there :D

I do have sympathy for you maman - as you say it is hard to hover around target - at least I don't have to charge myself if I go over or under ;)

EE for me today (+ extra HEX's for maintaining)
B: Baked beans on 1 800g slice of wholemeal toast (HEXB1), 1/2 grapefruit, banana, small fruit juice (2 syns)
L: 60g wholemeal roll (HEXB2) with x3 Babybel Light (HEXA1) & load of SF salad, ML FF greek style yogurt (1/2 syn)
T: Pork loin steak marinated in soy sauce, worcestershire sauce & lemon juice with loads of SF roasted vegetables & boiled rice
S & D: satsuma, banana, tea (milk is HEXA2), options hot choc (2 syns)

Syns for the day 4 1/2

frogga - hope you are OK? - we are missing you but it sounds like you are really busy at the moment.

  • I must confess... I hade a chinese last night :(

I'm hoping that I wasn't too bad! I had a small amount of smoked shredded chicken, prawns, mini ribs, chicken in black bean sauce with noodles, chicken cooked in garlic and spring onions and then lots of rice.

I have 2 hours of cricket training tonight so I'm hoping to burn it off! Fingers crossed the Slimming World scales will be my friend on Thurs!

    xx
