Dinner - Veggie rice stirfry, a bit like a risotto without the mucking about, LOL!

Snacks - cherries, grapes, strawberries, melon
Syns - ice lolly 4; not sure what else yet

    Good morning,

    2nd WI tonight!

I got my free Caffe Nero frappe latte this morning and I plan to be syn free for the rest of the day.

b- frappe latte (11.5 or 10 - not sure what milk it had in), chewy delight bar (heb), grapes
l - pasta with chopped tomatos, curried chickpeas, sweetcorn, bbq baked beans. grapes
    d - ham salad, cherries

I got those special k chewy delight bars last night - are they just the fibre plus bars I used to get rebranded?

I'm so glad you didn't pay for that bucketful of naughtiness! Money free it may be but the syns!!:eek::eek: Hope you enjoyed it.

Breakfast was a fried egg on HEB toast with mushrooms. Lunch if I feel like it (still very hot here:D) could be bubble & squeak using last night's LO veg or maybe just snack on fruit. SW Bolognese planned for supper. So far, only a squirt of sauce in the way of syns.

Pleased with myself last night, ate a whole galia melon snacking in front of tv. I'm feeling bloated again but maybe holiday eating (and drinking) catching up. Hopefully all yesterday's fruit, veg and beans will take effect soon. Sorry if TMI:o

It was nice but tasted very creamy - unlike the starbucks frappacino which is just coffee milk and ice I think this one has something else in it. I wont be having it again unless it is free lol.

ps if anyone is interested those chewy delight bars are £1 a box in asda at the moment - much cheaper than alpen lights

    BBQ's are easy!

Lots of lean chicken/lamb kebabs with peppers & onion, corn on the cob (pour some water inthe foil before putting on barbie), jacket potato, free/low syn burgers (going to get those sainsbugs ones!), free Linda McCartney red onion sausages, big salad with lots of pickles & cottage cheese, HEb 60g wholemeal roll for burger & HEa cheese slice & free HM SW chilli ketchup or relish :) (instead of pimms go for a glass of diet lemonade with a splash of balsamic vinegar - add strawberries, mint, orange slices & cucumber & its all free!!!!)

Back on track for me today!
B; fruit salad with ff yoghurt topping
L; 2 fried eggs, baked beans, grilled tomato & mushroom (gone right off salad!)
D; Gammon topped with egg, mashed potato (HEa milk), salad or veg

Snacks will be mini milk ice lolly (1.5) & Hi-Fi Bar (HEb). Will probably have some more syns somewhere!

    C xx
  • sigh ... am so annoyed with myself. Friend visited & we went to pizza hut for lunch(the closest & best place to where I had dropped my car off at the garage).
I intended just to have lots of salad but gave in and had 1 slice of veggie pizza - I didn't even eat the crust. But looking at the book I have I think that alone was at least 12syns!
    It was nice but 12syns!!!!
Getting thoroughly fed up now :(

Evening all, nice to see some new and regular faces still in here.

Well since the last thread i seem to have got my losses back on an even keel. Working with the weight loss team through the GP and now monitoring every morsel i eat with Myfitnesspal everything seems to be going in the right direction at last.
Previously my losses were a max of 2lb a week but averaging 0.5-1lb im now up to 3lb with half a stone gone in 3 weeks. Still around 1.5stone away from target but happier that with a few tweeks im losing consistently again:j
As many of the long term residents here know my son is also a member of SW and up to now has lost 4.5stone. Been struggling since we went on holiday in April as he had a total blow out not watching syns at all and gained 7lb over 2 weeks. Since then he has found it difficult to get back in the zone so had a heart to heart tonight about how deflated he was when he had an unwarranted gain - different consultant as stand in different room different scales but this was enough to tip him off the scales and to wreck his head into thinking like many of us do whats the point if im doing it properly i get a gain :(

So Roll on thursday evening for WI and more loss updates.

Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!
