Just a thought - if you are going to the gym and doing a few weights in your classes you could be gaining a bit of muscle and that's heavier than fat....
Thats not true, a lb of muscle is the same as a lb of fat, its an old myth that muscle weighs more, same as a lb of feathers is the same as a lb of lead
and a loss is a loss jungle jane :T:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Aw, thank you.
I just never seem to feel like I have done enough, been good enough etc.
Thinking about it, I feel like that alot and not just about weight so maybe its just another of my many personality flaws!!
I normally feel like everything in the universe is my fault :rotfl:Why would you feel like a failure after a 2lb loss??? Thats fantastic :T0 -
Its such a pain when you feel like that, isnt it?
I can never understand why sometimes its just so easy to be on plan, plan meals, buy right and then suddenly it all falls to pieces......Really struggling at the mo! Seem to have totally lost my mojo. Had a Chinese last night - just can't be bothered or organised at all at the minute0 -

Sending you a virtual hug fozzie, and one for lantanna too.:A
What I can confirm is that while losing weight won't change your personality, it'll certainly help you feel good about yourself. Before I started SW I felt like an anonymous, old bag lady. Since getting to target I feel healthier, fitter, smarter, more confident. I've taken more interest in my clothes and make up. Last week on holiday I felt so good in my new bikinis, skinny dresses and short skirts.
Sorry if this sound like boasting:o but I just want to say that it really is worth it so hang on in there! And keep posting this thread is great.
I ended up with more syns than planned yesterday. I'm blaming Andy Murray because I started on the wine syns much earlier than usual.
Back on the wagon today. I've had boiled eggs and toast so far. For lunch, I've got LO veg that I'll fry up with some cold meat. Supper will be baked haddock, new potatoes and cauliflower cheese. So only syns in cheese sauce.0 -

I know I'm guessing though I've had an interview and an exam last week so my efforts have been elsewhere.
Also funds are low at the minute so I'm having to be creative about what I eat and I'm finding that a bit depressing.
Got WI tonight and will have to stay to group to try and re motivate myself - Although my consultant isn't one of the best at all. You know a good consultant can so make or break the whole thing for you.
Does anyone know when the new mag is available ? Sometimes that helps me0 -
The new mag is in Group now. It was there when I went to WI on Thursday last week.

Maman thanks for the encouragement - you have done so well. I guess I'm kind of getting a bit fed up as there still seems such a long way to go................
Great I'll hopefully get to pick the mag up tonight !:T0 -
Hi folks - silly me didn't realise they was a new thread and just thought nobody was posting until I just read the last page, oops!
I'm now at a total loss of 17.5lbs - only 0.5lb away from club 10!! I've lost 2 clothes sizes so am now a 14 - back in clothes I last wore 2 years ago, very happy!
stitching witch how about fake pimms? it is alcohol free but also syn free. I see you can only use full fat lemonade so you would have to account for syns in that BUT you could play around with making your own using bicarb to make it fizzy, and stevia/truvia for sweetness?
Anyway the recipe if anyone wants it, my consultant made this and brought it to group and it was surprisingly good!
2 litres sugar free lemonade
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Add sweetener and lemon juice to taste
Add fruit slices - lemon orange strawberry lime cucumber - whatever!
Garnish with fresh mint, serve chilled with ice.0 -
Oh and the spreadsheet from minimins is here : http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/288206-excel-slimming-world-record.html
I like seeing the dashboard, very motivating!0 -
I've lost my mojo too this week & I've got WI tomorrow - won't be getting my 1 stone award that's for sure
I just can't keep track of things if I don't write it down! Was hoping to get 1.5 stone gone by 28th too
