125g pot
62 calories
9g sugars
0.3 fat
0.1 saturates
0.26 salt
Darn, there's no carbs bit or protein?
They are called "dunnes stores 0% fat toffee yoghurt"
Are these values per 100g or per pot? If they are per 100g then it's coming out at 4 syns x0 -

Hi Everyone - just popping in to say hi as I've not been around for a few days
Can I just say that I am so proud of Andy Murray - he has done Britain proud and I couldn't be happier! :T
I've been sticking to plan since last week, got a STS at weigh in last Wednesday so was pleased with that.
Today's eating plan (red):
B- Wholemeal roll, cheese, ham, tomato (A,, yoghurt
Snack - grapes/2 x satusumas, alpen light (3)
L - leftover thai pork meatballs with spicy tomato sauce
D - red wine and beef casserole with mini jacket potatoes, sour cream and cheese (A, B, 1 syn for the wine, 1 syn for the sour cream)
Snack - yoghurt, raspberries, glass of red wine (5)

Hi folks! I've been doing the Extra Easy plan for ten days, had my first WI and seen a tiny bit of progress. I am getting in a bit of a muddle with things though and thought I'd join you for a bit of support, which is sadly lacking at home!
I'm spending a lot of time looking things up in my Food Optimising book and also on-line but sometimes they have conflicting advice.
For example, a lovely cool refreshing glass of Pimms for a scorching summer's day. According to the book, 35ml of Pimms is 4.5 Syns. I then looked up lemonade which is 5 for 250ml, the fruit is free so I guessed it would be 9.5 altogether. I then looked on-line and a 250 ml can of ready-made Pimms and lemonade is 4.5 Syns  I was very good and swapped the lemonade for sparkling water. It was palatable but it wasn't quite so nice.
Another anomaly is a late night cup of Ovaltine. The book states 4tsp made with 200ml skimmed milk is 8 Syns. I have a very small cup, usually one rounded teaspoon of powder and use milk from my daily allowance. Surely that can't be 8 Syns? Or even four?
I'm pleased with the 3lb loss in the first week even with the potential sabotage at home, but I'm wondering if I could be doing better by calculating the Syns properly???
Thanks for listening to me waffle; I can't be the first newbie to get in a mess in the first few days...

Your Pimms would be 4.5 syns if you swapped the lemonade for diet lemonade because that would be syn free.
Ovaltine is 4.5 syns for 4 heaped teaspoons so for 1 heaped teaspoon you'd need to syn it as 1 or 1.5. If you're using milk from your HEA then obviously you don't need to add additional syns for it.
HTH.

Thanks for the help. I'd love to swap the lemonade for diet lemonade but unfortunately most diet drinks are sweetened with aspartame and DH will not allow anything containing aspartame in the house. I suppose that means the ready-made one uses it for the sweetening agent.
I think I'll stick with the sparkling water and just get used to the taste.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
2nd home weigh in for me today.
I am down another 2lbs.
Sensible head says well done, right on target.
BUT other head says......thats useless, terrible, waste of time doing SW......go eat lots of buttered toast to make you feel better
Am I the only one who always feels a failure, even when things are going okay????
Btw I am 54 years old and a lifelong yoyo dieter, so its not as if I am not familiar with the ups and downs of weight loss and gain!0 -
Morning All :hello:
Cannot believe its Monday again. The weekend went in far too quickly
. I was at the beach yesterday, think I would have had a heart attack if I was watching the tennis yesterday, Andy done us proud, he deserved his win :T. Well not exactly on plan at the weekend, I didn't have time to make my own burgers for our bbq but I hardly ate anything, had 3 bits of veg pakora for breakfast/lunch on Saturday as I was running about like a headless chicken!!!! I had a mountain of salad with my cheeseburger at the BBQ & didnt even finish my burger. I had made a big bowl of fruit salad & bought toffee cheesecake & choc fudge cake, so I had a tiny bit of choc cake with loads of fruit.
Kids & I went to the beach with the inlaws yesterday, I had a quick roll & cold meat for breakfast/lunch then a cheeseburger later on, just didn't feel hungry at all & when I did eat, it wasn't the best!!!
Back on plan today :-
B - Melon, pineapple, strawberries
L - SW Quiche (a), salad, Melon, pineapple, strawberries
D - Salad followed by Spag Bol
S - Toffee muller, banana
Syns - 2 for 200ml skimmed milk
HEB - 2 x benefit bars:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
