Right.....sneaky WI this morning, another 1lb off.....praise be to the Dyno-Rod Soup :j

Spent all morning on the road, chasing round for DD2 for hospital so food diary sort of looks like this:

Brunch: chinese buffet lunch (boiled rice, french beans in garlic, mushrooms in Oyster Sauce, beansprout chowmein, chinese mixed vegetables, Szechuan Beancurd, 1tbsp sweet and sour, 1 tiny triangle of sesame toast----approx 3 oz chicken in vegetables, 3 tiny nobbles of chicken in hong kong sauce, about 3 oz dry pork with no sauce......a one inch cube of gateau and fresh banana in custard (with most of the custard removed) careful as I was HEXB's deducted I still reckon I am at a generous 15 sins

Fluid 2 pints of water, 2 pints of sugar free squash

Dinner....not consumed yet, but will be Dyno-Rod soup
    :)

No more sneaky WI's now ...and wait til Monday
The cold never bothered me anyway

wowsers.... i hope i loose 3.5 on my first weigh in next wed!!! well done. did you get slimmer of the week?

You don't win slimmer of the week on your first week - they expect big losses, so existing slimmers would never win! x

I must admit I had a Consultant in my area who made me feel 2 inches tall, so I had to find another group a few miles out with a different Consultant, but by that point I had really lost my motivation.

This is how she made me feel- stupid, even though she had never told me the times. Luckily I met up with someone I used to work with in the group last week, and she called in to me on her way back from group- she lives round the corner from me. She is on the point of quitting too, because she feels this consultant takes the mickey out of her and is forever saying things like ' that's cheating- you know all about that, don't you carol !' ( I changed her name, lol)

She has considered making a complaint about her, but it's the only group she can get to. I have offered to take her with me if I find another group however I am considering 'going it alone' instead. There are two ladies at the gym doing slimimg world alone and i think I might suggest to them a regular weigh in together and supporting one another. I wouldn't have been staying for the talk at the group I joined anyway- the woman has a very high pitched voice which goes all through me and I can't afford 2.5 hrs a week listening to ' Mary came to the group today ladies etc etc etc,'. Isn't it blindingly obvious that Mary came to group of she is sitting there, lol? Can you tell I am in a vile mood, lol ! ;)

I am going to weigh at the gym tomorrow. Luckily I was weighed when I joined so I have something to reference back to, plus their scales are extremely accurate and calibrated frequently.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

Back from hols to a lovely new thread.:D

I don't weigh at home but I think when I put jeans on to travel back yesterday that I seem to have gained inches round my thighs.:( I have a week before WI to lose holiday gains. More or less back to plan today except for 3 pancakes that DD1 had kindly bought in for breakfast. Other than that I've just had fruit and SW Bolognese from the freezer.

Tomorrow I'll be doing my meal plan and hitting the supermarket.

Haven't been able to catch up on news but I will and meantime :wave:to all virtual friends old and new.

After a carp week I'm back on plan. Today's plan:

    Red Day
    B - bacon, mushroom & 0.5Tbs brown sauce (HEB1 = 0.5 syns)
L - smoked salmon, salad, fat free dressing
D - steak, roasted peppers, roasted onions, jacket potato (HEB2)

Away for weekend in motorhome and will be taking SW friendly food with me. Syns will be a couple of glasses of wine tonight & tomorrow.

Will leave some mince in the fridge before we leave to make a shepherds pie on Sunday when we get back.

RIGHT!!! !!!! well kicked, thank you. In much more positive frame of mind today.

I won't be buying any more clothes until I can get into my box of next size down. I have 3 tops that I can manage with for this heatwave & if necessary I can wash my shorts & tops overnight to wear continuously (I don't often wear shorts but I could live in these - though they're too big on waist now :T ). Might have to dig out my 'holiday' skirt too if I can find it (don't wear skirts often either!!).

Had fruit & yoghurt for brekkie (didn't have any breakfast yesterday then pigged at lunch), will have small salad & cottage cheese for lunch & spag bol tonight with courgette & mushrooms :D

Lost track of the syns I had on Tuesday, so will keep these low for the rest of this week until WI on Tuesday so I get my stone award (& yes I am VERY hard on myself, but I need to be for as long as my motivation lasts! I want to take the motorway at the moment, then the rest will be via the 'scenic' route ;) )

Have a good sunny day everyone - enjoy the sun - DD & I have already been in the garden & although cool you can feel it's going to be a hotty!

    C xx

    I've been Money Tipped!
This thread certainly moves at speed.

I have signed up for the 6 week countdown however I couldn't face a gain last week as it was "that week" and I ate enough chocolate for all of us ... and I can't make tomorrows because i'll be at a wedding ... I will be going for the next 3 weeks though although I another one considering going alone - My leader is fantastic but she has 2 weigh in people that really grate on me ... I always get were you expecting that gain (It really annoyed me when one of the women says it whilst shovelling her face with flapjack) and she has been in the same position as me up and down.

I have some incentive though I have booked our family holiday the only snag is that we are going mid March when there is likely to be no summer clothes about ... which is fine for everyone else except me - now do I buy smaller clothes with the aim to get in them and risk them not fitting. I refuse to buy clothes at my current size as that would just be giving up ... Any advice?

I haven't brought lunch today so it will probably be a tuna and cucumber sandwich - Sausage, mash and loads of veg for tea :)
