Fed up again today - what's up with me?! Really don't fancy anything salady, so again gone for a green day - just had a big breakfast style comfort lunch while DD napping. Didn't have any breakfast & got leftover risotto for dinner, so not many superfree in my body today :o

Heatwave starting today & I've got so little to wear it's probably what's making me fed up. Got a pair of denim shorts which I love, but now they're all sold out so can't buy another pair & none of my vesty tops fit me so I'm going to have to swelter in 30deg next week :(Don't really want to buy anything (even cheap) as I don't have the money, plus hopefully it'll be too big for me by the end of the summer.

Someone give me a kick up the !!!! please?! lol

What does the speed soup taste like? What's in it? Never got enough courage to eat my own soup, but I like the idea of this.

    C xx

This is the main reason I restarted SW. all my clothese were too small and I cant afford (and dont want) to replace them.

I am sure you will fit back into your clothes again soon - at least thats what I keep telling myself!!

As far as I remember the speed soup is nice as it has a tomato base. You just cook as many veg/beans as possible in tomato sauce and then whizz it in the blender so I guess the flavour depends on what you put in it

What about a vegetable frittata or quiche or something?? That will get you your SF's for the day

I love dyno rod soup, its likened to heinz vegetable and is very scrummy, I don;t blend it & add more stock to my liking, I don't like my soup to be thick

    Dyno-Rod Soup

    1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils (or handful of dried)
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 can baked beans
    Handful of red lentils
    2 large leeks
    1 large onion
    4 medium carrots
    2 parsnips
1 each green, red and yellow peppers
    2 vegetable stock cubes
    Salt pepper
    Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)
Chop all vegetables. Put them and everything else into a largepan, cover with water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft(about 30 mins). Once cooked, the soup can be left chunky or blended smooth.

That looks great, thanks. Is it all free?

Annie H - All free on EE or Green days. Not tried it myself but do make loads of veggie soup, particularly in winter. Not too keen on soup once the weather warms up.

WI this morning, have put on a pound but was expecting it as it has been a carp week for me. Hopefully this week will be a better week. It's so annoying as I was only 2lb from getting back into top end of target and now it 3lb again! Oh well, just have to stick to it to the letter this week and hope that'll do it.

I am really cheesed off :( it was supposed to be weigh in this morning. The woman running my group never told me the times etc- there is just a notice on the board saying 9am onwards and that's all it says on line. The last 2 weeks ( my first 2 weeks) I arrived about twenty past, but weighing was going on until well after 10 am. I was tere until 11.30 last week as she didn't start talking until 10.30, but someone was still weighing people for her. I arrived just after 10 today however to find her talk in full flight, the room full, and she refused to let me weigh in, saying weighing is strictly between 9-9.30. I told her she never told me the hours and I was surprised given how long weighing went in last week, but she asked me go back after she finished but I couldn't because I was due at my sons school for a performance. The lady who weighs was still sitting at the scales! I am going to try and go to another one a bit further out this evening, but if my daughter isn't home early enough I really don't want to drag my youngest with me ( he is on the autism spectrum

Can anyone tell me whether I am allowed to weigh in tomorrow if I have weighed in Thursday the first two weeks, or do you have to be within the 7 days? I will be blowed if I am expected to go next week and pay 2 weeks ( and I am so annoyed I don'treally want to go back to my original group anyway- she shouted ' byee' really sarcastically when I said I couldn't get back after she finished talking!

ETA:I can't find any Friday groups anywhere around here at all,so if I can't go tonight I won't be able together weighed until next week. So annoyed! I will weigh myself at the gym in the morning, but of course I have no idea how those scales compare to slimming world!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

SuziQ - I cant comment as I don't & have never went to class but your group leader doesn't sound very supportive, sound like a mitch with capital B!!!!! Some people are just downright horrible

Not free on Red days - it's got beans in it! You can use some beans as HEX B but quite honestly it just isn't worth it on Red days.

As I said before only Free on EE and Green days.

SuziQ I have done SW on and off for 18 years, and I have never seen a Friday group in my area.....the only reason I can think of is that although we think there might be a demand, a Consultant may not be able to sustain it because of drop outs going out on a Friday night/long weekends on flexible sins

I must admit I had a Consultant in my area who made me feel 2 inches tall, so I had to find another group a few miles out with a different Consultant, but by that point I had really lost my motivation.

I must admit I find being on this thread really helpful...more supportive being here every day that in a draughty hall with a room full of strangers :)
The cold never bothered me anyway
