Can I ask how much you want to lose in total shala? Just wondering, sorry.

My consultant has just announced a '3lb challenge' - if you lose 3lb in a week your name goes into a box to win a prize at the end of the month - if that's not an incentive I don't know what is! Wonder if I can do it?

*Needs to drink much more water/sf squash instead of Diet pop :o
*Make sure I get 1/3 superfree even if I'm doing green days...
*Continue to stay off the bread & alcohol

    What else could I do?

    C xx

use more super speed's... body magic? good luck ;)

Have just checked to see how my sausage & bean casserole is defrosting and there isn't much sausage in it! Have decided I'll give all the bits of sausage to DH and I'll just have the bean casserole which means I can save the 4.5 syns it was going to "cost" me for the sausage (it's only 0.5 syn on red or EE days!).

I've also spent a couple of hours this morning chopping up stew veg and have made 4 stew packs of root veg and frozen - will save chopping when I make stews in the future.

Had loads of carrots so have made a spicy carrot & lentil soup - just need to blend it. Think there will be about 4-6 portions so will probably have some of that before the casserole to help fill us up. There will then be enough for at least one, possibly 2 lunches over the weekend for us both.

No problem with that. I save mine every week for wine syns at weekends! I just wanted to check that you weren't falling into the mindset that having no syns means weightloss.

I use the 'giving up/cutting down' thread on here to keep my alcohol consumption in check. What I've found that as I've cut back to mostly weekends, my tolerance has dropped so I've generally fallen asleep before too many syns are consumed!:rotfl:

I save my syns up for weekend wine too :D.

I use the 'giving up/cutting down' thread too - in fact it was through maman recommending it on here that I found it - it has proved invaluable in helping me keep my alcohol consumption (and syns) in check ;).

Have a great weekend everyone :)

I'd alter that to at least one third of superfrees and lean towards extra veg rather than extra fruit.

Then things (that you may do already) like measuring all HEXs and syns, no guesswork or write down everything that passes your lips. And careful meal planning and associated shopping lists.

    What about dynorod soup?:rotfl:
  • I was considering going teetotal too... unless I can save all my syns for the day to have a glass of wine. It's just too easy to have too many! I'm going to a ball tomorrow night and I think I'm going to drive as the dinner won't be low in syns, and I have work and a baby shower on the sunday. Hopefully I'll feel virtuous for it in the morning!

Tesco Light Choices Cumberland syn value has changed.. now 1 syn EE + red and 4 on green days.. not a massive change but worth knowing of course ;)

I checked in my Sainsbury's this morning and they've still got the half syn sausages on display and still at 2 for £3.50.

Maybe it depends on the size of the branch whether they're stocked over Christmas?
