  • It's 5.5 :) I had some in the cupboard last week so didn't even need to check!

I'm being rubbish today, am on earlies which always kill me and make me lazy (especially when OH is away) but luckily I anticipated this and took salmon out if freezer yesterday so salmon boiled potatoes and frozen veg for my dinner.

I was thinking about making an omelette to take to work and reheat in a oven. Has anyone tried this? Not sure reheated omelette would be very nice?

    Thanks :T:T

I have re-heated an omelette in the micro before, and i have found it still edible.

It must be worth the consultants doing it otherwise they wouldn't. Mine's been doing it 19 years & loves it. You get certain things from SW as part of the franchise but you have to buy extra's like award certificates. I don't know if there's a minimum number of classes but most people seem to run at least 2 around here, though my old consultant runs 8 or 9 in 3 different towns!
  • Todays food diary:

    weetbix & ss milk (a&b)
    mugshot, strawberries
salmon, sweet chilli sauce (1.5), potatoes, butter (2.5), mixed veg
snacks - alpen light (3), velvet crunch (4)

11 syns so far... am off cake decorating tonight, we get 1 to eat and 4 to take home so I'm going to take the other 4 into work tomorrow!

Re being a consultant, I guess it's the same as any other business... you get out what you put in. Probably hard going at first but if you are good at it, and motivate people, then they will return and the group will grow!

Well done to lose 3lb you must feel great. It has taken me almost twelve months to lose 4 lb. I must be wrong somewhere I have diabetes and have medication for high blood pressure so I'm wondering if my medication is stopping me from losing. I am disabled to and can't excersise. What do you think?

I have heard that certain medication can affect weightloss but 4lbs in a year doesn't sound right to me. All I can suggest is that you post your menus regularly and we'll see if you're going wrong anywhere. As far as exercise goes, I'm ashamed to say that I don't do any and I still got to target. I think the Body Magic helps to tone you but it's the healthy eating that controls your weight.

mildredd, on the wasting food: I think lots of people are more conscious of food waste at the moment, there's loads of publicity about it, so maybe that's why she mentioned it. Why not just cook your LO a smaller portion that she can manage to finish. If she's still hungry, offer something else like a small piece of cheese and a few grapes.
  • STS this week. Still in target zone.
