Fantastic loss psycho, well done you!:T:T:T
I went to WI tonight at a different group so didn't stay. I lost 3lbs. That's over two weeks, but it takes me to 0.5 below my target range, so I have to gain this week or I have to pay.:eek:Actually it sets me up well for the various meals out coming up. I've decided I'll only post my 'good' meals.0 -
Pssst...

Just 40 days - better get organising myself!!!
Shala-Moo, I had a 2lb gain for week 2 of the challenge.
This week has been difficult food wise but I've done a lot more exercise so hopefully not too bad in the long run. I was out late last night, ate too many nibbley things, and drink too much wine. I feel bad this morning.
I'm off to the shops today so will be choosing some lovely healthy stuff but I have no ideas what to eat today. So far I've managed just coffee!Trying to keep in budget.

Can I join you please? I have been a Sw member more times than I care to remember, was a target member for six months or so and then couldn't get back into target zone so eventually stopped going and have now crept back up to one stone over target!
I'm going to try and do this at home as i know what to do- I'm hoping the thought of posting in here will keep me on the straight and narrow.
Weigh in this morning is 13stone 2lb, my target is 12 stone. I will get there!Determined to save and not squander!

Morning all!
Week 2 weight loss - -1.5lb
Pleased with that after my mini binge on Tuesday
Tried a new scan bran cake today - chocolate using white choc options.
Made a nice soup with a 3 bean stew pack from tesco which is about £1.
Sainsburys BGTY fresh sausages have been taken off the shelves for Christmas:eek: so I went for the frozen variety thinking they were the same sausage but frozen - are they hell:mad: apart from the fact they are minging they are 1.5 syns each. Will have to get the Tescos ones in future. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
Mildredd, I'm really struggling too at the minute. I had a bag of crisps for Brekkie, a big chippy tea last sat and tons of cheese all blinking week.
With me its my mood and am still mourning the loss of my wee dog - but I'm trying to keep it in check as much as I can - I'm trying to think of the overall picture and hope that my motivation returns swiftly.
To whoever suggested about looking after yourself (sorry can't remember who it was ) think this was a fab idea
Maman - Oooh a gain to work on this week lol
Frogga - Good to see you back - I have no scales in my house either and just go with what I get in group on thurs
I've been nominated for Miss Slinky - but as I told my leader last night by text - there will be nothing slinky about my gain this week lol :rotfl:0 -
I am thinking of running a Slimming World group.
Can anyone who has taken on a similar role provide any information of the pros and cons associated with running a group. Is there money to be made and how many people do you need enrolled to break even? Are the targets realistic or are the arrangements heavily weighted in Slimmings Worlds favour? What are the pitfalls?
Would anyone recommend running my own group or should I avoid it like the plague.
Hi, have you been a Slimming World member & lost weight with them & achieved target? You won't be able to run a group if you haven't done this.0 -
Hi all - esp Mildred hope you are having a better day. Well carp day for me yesterday when an old dear decided to reverse her car into my 3 month old car. Couldn't believe it as there was only hers an mine in the car park. How on earth that happened. still at least she was honest and legit; good job as it is approx £800 quids worth of damage.
I am very impressed with the losses; well done truly inspiring. So this evening I am going to weigh in, and even though it's day four on the plan still worried:cool:.
Menu
B: Scrambled egg and mushrooms
Lunch: Tuna salad with crispbread and cottage cheese.
Snack: banana and ffyog.SW fridge surprise...probably something with quorn sausages.
Do any of you guys have teenagers, mine are a nightmare when it comes to food. Although they eat balanced meals, you would think that they could not survive with vast amounts of biscuits. If you saw my trolley you would think how can you be a SW member.:rotfl:0 -

Well done to lose 3lb you must feel great. It has taken me almost twelve months to lose 4 lb. I must be wrong somewhere I have diabetes and have medication for high blood pressure so I'm wondering if my medication is stopping me from losing. I am disabled to and can't excersise. What do you think?0 -

Might be worth a chat with your GP - he should be assisting weight loss where possible as it's good for both your diabetes & blood pressure!
My menu today;
B; 2 poached eggs & baked beans
L; savoury rice
D; white fish (HEb), sw chips & mixed veg (mushy peas for DH)
Not having a lot of syns this week - just don't really fancy anything though it's not showing on the scales as helping any! Might have a hot choc (2) & hi-fi bar (HEb) this evening I suppose. Would really love to get 2lbs off this week if I can!
Actually the lack of syns might be made up tomorrow night - will do fajita's whilst watching Children in Need, so syns will go on a couple of wraps (although 1 will be my HEb)
