Morning all
I am feeling like a new person this morning, I ranted and raved like a lunatic all day yesterday. Although *star week still hasnt yet made an appearance its without doubt going to appear in the next 24 hours given that the hormone fog has lifted :T
After i posted my thread yesterday, It was brought to my attention that someone i thought i could trust (at work) has been telling all & sundry things that i have told him in confidence.
Boss pulled me aside asking me to " stop gossiping".. I can see why its been seen as "gossiping" but to me it wasn't because i just told this one person as it was someone who i believed to be a friend, and who was capable of being able to keep their thoughts to themselves. I was sadly wrong.:( I certainly dont go around the office anything that i may hear (which isnt anything really given i am sat around a wall in the reception area - the rest are in the main office) . So lesson learnt. I wont be trusting anyone i work with again. Yesterday i felt very angry , and upset about everything but this morning i am just sad. I thought this person was someone i could trust, and confide in.
I explained my side of things to my boss, admitted i made an error of judgement and that it wont be happening again. Boss was fine and said keep your mouth shut in future (should point out it was nothing detrimental to the business either)..
anyway today i am having a "use up of non sw friendly food"
Breakfast - 30g of red berries trim flakes with semi skimmed milk Plus coffee
Lunch - Uncle bens sweet n sour pot thingy
Dinner - Battered fish & chips (frozen rather than from the chippy) with peas
snacks - have a banana on me, a hot choc (options), and a shape chocolate hazelnut choccie pot (which are yummy semi frozen) :T
Sorry i know we are on a SW threadbut need to use stuff up

Mantra: No wine, no weight
Wine is a curse..If i have wine EVERYTHING goes out of the window.. Sometimes i wonder about whether a teetotal lifestyle would be better. Its great at the time but i end up eating everything in sight, and feel rubbish the next day..

Good morning -went for an intro and WI. There was a guy who was the leader and he had lost 10 stone, how amazing is this. Well I officially weighed on on Thurs at 14st 5lb, which is 1.5lbs on my weigh in so I will stick with my start weight until next week.
Grub:
B - porrige with water
L - HM leak and potato soup
D - quorn sausage tomato pasta + mushrooms and veg medley.
snacks: banans, pineapple, ff yog (syns 0.5) apple etc you get the idea. Will also chuck in crispbread with cottage cheese somewhere.
Mantra: No wine, no weight
Glad you got to a group last night so you now have shiny new books. You should also have access to the website for this week.
All I'd say about your menu today: It looks good and could be either EE or Green. Green is best as you've got 2 x HEBs (porage and crispbread) but no HEAs planned as yet. Milk? Cheese? Why only 0.5 a syn? Are you saving them up?0 -
Morning All!
I gained 0.5 yesterday. Which actually isn't very bad considering the week I had!
Back on it this week and hoping for a good loss! xx0 -
Hi Maman and RFD - re the sins...the weekend is looming and I wanted to try and balance any naughty days over the week. The thing is re wine if I have a glass then it then turns into a bottomless glass and before long the bottle is gone.
So I have decided to try and detox until nearer Christmas, and for the party season. RFD I am so the same, when you have a pinot grigio in one hand, this then leaves the other free to reach for the snacks with the other. Don't think i will ever be teetotal, but I do blame my alcohol consumption for unnecessary weight gain.0 -

No problem with that. I save mine every week for wine syns at weekends! I just wanted to check that you weren't falling into the mindset that having no syns means weightloss.
I use the 'giving up/cutting down' thread on here to keep my alcohol consumption in check. What I've found that as I've cut back to mostly weekends, my tolerance has dropped so I've generally fallen asleep before too many syns are consumed!:rotfl:0 -
Sooooo tired today. When hubby's away I forget to go to bed
B; fruit salad & ff yoghurt
L; not really feeling like lunch - waiting for shopping to be delivered, so we'll see if I fancy anything that comes!
D; fajita's - will make it as syn free as poss, but the wraps (1 will be a HEb) & salsa will make up for the lack of syns today & the last few days.
Might also have a biscuit at a friends this afternoon with my cuppa's (HEa).

Sorry I haven't been around, I am reading at work but finding it hard to find time to post!! I am making notes of all your challenge weights though.. well done to the losers :T commiserations to the gainers, you can do it next week, you know you can

Hello to Sedge, welcome to the madhouse..:D
Just been up to see the nurse for my regular blood pressure check (it's always borderline high cos I have white coat syndrome) but she asked my weight and I was so annoyed because i'd promised myself to lose weight since last time to see if that made a difference.. grrrr.. so PMA - in 6 months I will have lost some weight and my blood pressure will be normal!
Also got 3 weddings next year, first in April - so i'll set that as my interim goal to get in a lovely dress that I feel comfortable in 21lbs in 21 weeks...
Weigh in for me today -1lb off.. :T slow going but i'd rather that than nothing at all as normally happens
Get losing losers!!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Can I ask how much you want to lose in total shala? Just wondering, sorry.
My consultant has just announced a '3lb challenge' - if you lose 3lb in a week your name goes into a box to win a prize at the end of the month - if that's not an incentive I don't know what is! Wonder if I can do it?
*Needs to drink much more water/sf squash instead of Diet pop
*Make sure I get 1/3 superfree even if I'm doing green days...
*Continue to stay off the bread & alcohol
What else could I do?
