I'm never asking my consultant about food abuse again she ranted in my face for a good 5 mins about how its wrong and a syn! A syn u tell thee!!!
The wi scales showed I'd lost 2 stone last week
Frogga! Your back 2 stone 8that's impressive weight loss
oh blimey... I hope it wasn't those pesky scones that caused it, I'll confess all to her!!knew i'd regret them, they were lovely warm with the soup but didn't half sit heavy all night in my stomach, felt like i'd swallowed a couple of house bricks!
some great losses, hope I can follow suit on thurs x0 -
Yuk just had to eat a babybel to get rid of the taste from some cakes I just made.
Has anyone actually had any success with sw cake recipes? My friend made lemon drizzle ones earlier and they didn't rise at all, although tasted ok.. And I just tried to make bakewell bites which again didn't rise at all and tasted of sweetener and almond... Left a chemical taste!
We have come to the conclusion that making regular cakes at more syns will be much more satisfying! Would rather have a decent muffin at 7 syns than a 2 syn mouthful of chemical cake!
Well done to all you losers so far this week! I've been almost completely on plan except for Friday night and last night when I was delayed 3 hours at work, unfortunately no healthy choices available and I'd eaten eveything I took in so I had a small tub ofpringles and 2 finger kit Kat. Today was perfect, until I tried 3 of my cakes to check they were as horrible as I thought! Fingers crossed for a loss after last week!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Oooh shala, I love chocolate marzipan. I picked up a box of chocolate marzipan hearts on Friday then rapidly put them back down again as I knew I couldn't keep them until Christmas.
Frogga, if it's not just batteries with your scales then I think a weekly trip to Boots is a good idea. They may not tally at first but used week on week you'll get an accurate picture.
You sound really upbeat MrsR, shame about the little gain but all the confidence boosters sound great.
I've had a Green day today, very unusual for me. As DH has no appetite I made myself a big plate of egg and chips for supper. Yum!Yum! and then I had some cheese (extra HEA) chopped up with an apple later.0 -

The only ones I've had any success with is the 1/2 syn roulade - although a lot of people think it tastes "eggy" but I haven't found that; and what's even better is that it's filled with SFs!
Having another EE day today- can't remember the last time I had a full week of EE!:
B - porridge with banana
L - spicy cabbage
D - steak, mushrooms, onions, either jacket potato or SW chips
Looking at that it could almost be a Green day but just weighed my steak and it's far too big to be a HEB:rotfl:.

They are not electric scales, they are just 'go round the clock' ones. The tadpoles have been jumping on and off on and off one at a time and then together so I think they broke the spring
They wanted to see how mant times they cound get it to go right round so the were holding all sorts of iron from the shed aswell. Brilliant.Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi Shala, 1.5 off for me
so I too am back where I started! I now have exactly a month until I go on my trip and have not a hope of losing much. I have even stuck a picture of a coach on my diary. Yup, a coach. This is to remind that by the time I get on that coach to the airport, I intend to be slim, gorgeous etc etc. (OH said it's to remind myself to stop eating or I'll look like the back of one)
Re SW recipes, I usually find the ones that are supposed to be substitutes for puddings and cakes are pretty dire although the savoury ones can be ok; that could just be my rubbish baking skills tho!
PS has anyone read 'Chocolate Busters' by Jason Vale? Thinking about getting it but looking for advice0 -
Morning all,
Oh I hate marzipan - even the smell of it lol
Great losses :T
Mrs Ryan - good for you for getting dressed up - I know myself with my own mental health when I'm low it can be very hard to do even the simplest of things - so good for you :T
I wouldn't worry about the smallest of gains - think of it as the bigger picture.
A man just said to me this morning "Do you not think you've lost enough weight now?" and he actually meant it!!!
Couldn't believe it !!
Trying to drink lots of green tea today and claw back for thurs - but doubting it as had a little stuffing session on the settee last night after a rotten day0 -
Weighed in today have lost 2lbs wish it were much much more but I am relieved as yesterday I hadn't lost a thing ! It's funny how that happens and then the next day is a loss. Think I am trying too hard am being so so good just not getting the results I want never mind gotta stick with it.
menu today
B banana
L 2 pears and 2 apples
D wedges beans toms 2 sausages gorgeous!
took the sausages as my syns
hea milk in my tea
heb might have magic porridge for supper if desperate !
Hope everyone getting on ok good luck to us all!
I think its because you're not eating enough. There is only 1 syn there and not enough protein. i'd be dead from hunger if that was my day's food, but i guess we're all different! You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
So, I have built up the courage once again to step back on the SW journey. After losing 2.7 stone in 2009. This weight has gone back on over the last few years and more....1 and a half stone more. I have been inspired by your weight loss and lifestyle changes. Shala I have read your posts here and MFW board, So feel I have startred to know you.
I have decided that at this time that I will not attend a class (I know my chances of success are less); due to cost etc. This may have to change if things don't work. I have dusted off my old books and notes and know that I can do this again. My starting weight is 14.6 (the heaviest I have been) and at 5'8 and a bit this means I am now wearing size 16/18 clothes. For me the size of my clothing tells the story a lot more than the weight. It is there everytime I try and squeeze into my jeans.
I can feel that I am rambling so will cut this short. Just wanted to know if I can squeeze in to this thread with a view to losing a few lbs with your support?
Thanks for reading...:)0 -
Morning All!
Sorry I've been MIA the last few days. Thank you to all for my Birthday wishes!
Now to confess... I was off plan from Thurs - Sun. Hoping I can pull things back to manage a STS. Lots of Superfree until weigh in on Thurs night!
