Sorry to hear your mum's still poorly tie. Awful for her and a big strain for you. Then there's the toothache.:(

Didn't eat the chicken skin (it was really flabby and unappetising anyway, LOL!)
    Denise

I'm sure that made it so much easier to discard!;) We had a woman at my group who had to take the skin off chicken and put it straight in the dog's bowl to stop herself eating it. It even had to be a dirty bowl or she couldn't trust herself not to snaffle it back!:rotfl:

and I was tempted by chips and a pint but I was good and stuck to fruit and coffee..

That take massive will power. Well done!:T I'm pleased that I've stopped having my usual Crunchie at half time. Now I just have a tiny bite of OH's so it means he has to cut down too!;)

Not really sure about today's eating. My DH has man flu. Why can't men just have ordinary colds?? He had breakfast and now he's fast asleep. He may surface for supper, may not. What I'd eat with him would be different from what I'd have if it was just me. So, supper may change. Current thoughts:

B: NAS squash, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk, Half a banana
L: soup or may make frittata or maybe both!
D: planned duck, dauphinoise potatoes, peas, carrots, onions, cauli & broccoli

Syns: dauphinoise is defrosted so if not today we'll have it tomorrow, weekend wine.:)

    :T to all losers.

shala, thank you for doing your best with scores. I may not be able to update for a week or so as missing WI but overall gain/loss will be the same over time.

    Hello peeps...

Everyone seems to be having toothache lately.. hugs TIE!! I hope you have some painkillers to take away the pain a little.

    Smilersgran, great loss :T

My mealplan for next week needs to be sorted this afternoon so i'll be stealing some ideas from your menus and checking out the recipes from SW. Looking forward to getting back on track..
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • Hi everyone

I am so pleased as have lost 2lb (written big for your chart Shala and because I am so happy!!)

I am surprised at the loss as went out for a meal this week and also had a chippy tea, I have tried to follow SW as much as possible though- only 4lb to lose to get back to my goal weight.
I've had the SW bubble and squeak for lunch from the mag with skinny lizzy sausages, tomatoes, beans, eggs and mushrooms- very tasty and filling. Hope all of you are Ok and enjoying the weekend, almost 3pm and I've still got so much to do so will sign off now x

B - bacon & mushroom sandwich (HEB) sauce 1 syn
L - not sure yet but will be synfree hopefully!
D - roast chicken, roast pots, roasted veg, cabbage

HEA - milk in teas throughout the day
Syns - not sure yet but will keep it low to help claw back some syns as already quite high this weekDenise

Quick update - made some spicy veg soup using up bits from the fridge - had a few tomatoes which were going soft, a few carrots, added an onion & some garlic boiled it all up together and added some spices and blitzed it. Was surprisingly nice and spicy. Made some apple muffins and have had a couple of those so that'll be my syns for today - need to work out how many syns they are but hopefully not more than 4 or 5 each.
