Hi Mich your meal looks very nice, I was just wondering about your burger at 1.05 syns if you buy ultra lean or extra lean mince and just add herbs and salt and pepper cook in the oven or use fry lite then a quarter pounder will be no syns.Maris piper are good for any chips or roasties :T Just a thought Wiz

yeh, have done syn free ones, its the chorizo in this one, was nice and spicy and worth the 1.5 for a change :) don't eat them very often just got these from 'the sausage man' that does SW friendly stuff.. think i'd rather use my bought ex lean mince on a chilli or spag bol.. goes a lot further ;)

Well I didn't fancy jacket spud and beans so I had an Indian takeaway- lamb rogan josh 6.5 syns and plain boiled rice- free which was fine. However the bottle of wine and giant buttons wasn't :o have decided to flexi syn today and back on it tomorrow.

our SW group have a facebook page so meals sometimes get posted to there.. we were talking about actifrys in group hence the pic :)

asked about getting crispy chips and someone commented to use maris piper and cut them a little thicker, rinse them properly till the water is clear and dry them very well with kitchen roll before you spray them with fry light and they will be really crispy... we'll see :D
  • Need some advice about this diet. Does anyone else suffer with bloated/windy tummy and or constipation?

Like I've said before JPP Frogs don't trump. It's a human condition, and that smell on this thread is most certanly not me :D

Very very busy today doing alot of housework and organising for the Christmas Fayre in the village. Got a huge 'to do' list, and nowhere on the list does it say 'stuff your face' so I rekon I'll be ok today :)

Have a good day folks :A

This week I have lost 1, so all in all, I'm 1 lb up so far
    :o

    Back on track today though!

2nd week weigh in for me and -1.5lb :j:j

I actually didn't expect to lose weight this week so very pleased with that :j:j still need to step it up a gear next week though if I'm to meet my target.

JPP - have you changed what you're eating significantly now you're doing SW? Sometimes your tummy might have to get used to changes, water is good for getting things moving I believe, so up your water consumption..

Mich - think I'll try that with the actifry, I always dry them off by putting them in the machine with no oil first for a bit and then add it but maybe it'll work better if I dry them with towels..

Have a wonderful day all... Xx
