  • Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a while as sadly my lovely OH passed away the Friday before last. As you can imagine my mind hasn't been on SW, but I have decided I need to get back on plan because I need to give myself some structure. The funeral is not until next Monday and I have loads of family coming at the weekend but at least if I get back into thinking about what I am eating it will be a start. Today I have had:
B: oatibix and skimmed milk 9.5 s plus hea
    S:banana
L: jacket potato, cottage cheese, homemade coleslaw (1s) tuna
D: mushroom risotto with cheese and wine in it
S: 3 mince pies (whoops) 1 sq dark choc. (Found it in the cupboard, only 1sq left or it would have been more) apple

Nearly finished the packet of oatibix so will replace with weetabix for my HEB. I let myself get too hungry, that's why Ihad the 3 mince pies, then I couldn't finish my risotto.

I have enjoyed reading through everyone's posts, and congratulations to all you losers, and hugs to those who are struggling.

Oh God Eleanorf I'm so sorry to hear that. I too am totally in awe that you have even contemplated worrying about what you eat. I can totally understand why being in control of something, even if it's just your eating, is very important.

I hope your family bring you some comfort, and you know that even though we are all only virtual friends, our love and support is no less real.

Been working today, that's my danger time.. Do 24hr sleep in shifts so once the chaps I support have gone to bed and jobs done I start cruising the kitchen.. I don't have my danger foods (bread and crisps) at home so cant eat them... they have them and chocs, biccies a plenty at work unfortunately.. taking my SW alternatives helps a little but do have the odd peanut butter on toast.. better than the 3 slices of warbies toastie with it and lurpak butter I used to have for breakfast (and sometimes supper) pre SW :p

my 'treat' is usually Chinese.. chicken or beef in blackbean sauce with boiled rice.. feels naughty but only 5 syns :)
