Wuvvies - sorry I missed your post earlier x
Sorry to hear your situation is the way it is and that your unhappy with it xxx going back to group is a big step BUT its the step you have to take to get back on track xxx I stay to group mainly because my dd thinks its a playgroup and because I like socialising with other people who aren't happy with their weight (my friends are generally eat what they want stay the same - 1 friend actually asked me for advice on what should she eat to gain weight) sw group is my little safe haven as is here with likeminded people all with one goal in sight and well it makes me feel human that I'm not the only one who binges or used to eat crap or struggles with emotions n turns to food?
Plus ya get a free brew - no biccie thoughStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Right you lot.. do I have to come and be the tough love person!! When the clock strikes midnight tonight, put down the chocolate/wine/Chinese/crisps * and decide that Sunday will be the day you will eat healthily all day!
There's a lot of backsliding going on here tonight. I'm part of it as I've had crisps again!:(
I know it may seem odd for people to talk about all the bad things they've had but I think it's an AA sort of thing and we just want to be open and honest and start afresh.
Anyhow, my idea is to follow shala's advice and tomorrow I WILL stick to my plan.0 -
I nearly didn't come on here this morning, but I'm SO GLAD I did  YOu all help me so much, thankyou my friends xxx
It really does help to know I'm not alone. I now have to decide whether to weigh in the morning, or whether to declare a STS and try and lose it again for next week. Maybe I will if you all do? Maybe I need to face the reality of what I've done? Maybe the scales will send me off on one again? I know my old pal Taplady would say 'Frogga, step away from the scales'I'll think about it.
Feels like I've wasted Half Term. I had plans to do so much, I've done some of it, but then was too busy stuffing my face to do everything I wanted to. Also because I ate badly, I've been in a mood all week so not enjoyed it. Mr Frog and the Tadpoles don't know what's wrong either? I'm such an idiot. Wouldn't you think I'd remember that old formular...
Eating well=feeling well=good moods all round
Eating Carp=feeling carp=bad moods all round
I know I'm not a Maths Teacher but it's not hard to grasp is it?

My old group that I went to was like this too, loads of people would have "treated" themselves and the consultant would just laugh and then give them the stern eye and say "but you'll be better next week, won't you"
I liked it because it proves we're all human and we can't be on plan 100% all of the time and you're not judged on it, and nor should you be, it doesn't make you a bad person. It also does away with the secret eating or the guilt that I'm sure some of us feel..
I watched Biggest Loser yesterday and Bob :smileyhea was saying that food has power over us if we eat in secret, if it's out in the open it no longer has that taboo and just becomes less of a treat/excitement so losses it's power so we eat less as food just becomes food.
Ohh sorry don't know where all that came from this morning...must be feeling a bit philosophical today :rotfl:

Frogga, I've already put you on the chart as a STS, as you mentioned it before, so don't get on them scales if it has the slightest chance of knocking you back again...
If you decide to, then just let me know and I can change it..
Good luck everyone for your healthy eating Sunday... Post menu's if you will (cos I need to steal all your ideas!!)
Let's say it's extra easy
B - cup of tea
Brunch - hash browns with eggs, 2 toast heb
T - some sort of beef pie with mash on top and veg
S - satsuma, banana, carrot sticks, yogurt
The hash browns are just onions and cubes of potato "fried" so are free, rather than the hash browns you buy in the shops..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Wuvvies- Hi, just wanted to say I feel your pain, my lovely 23 yr old step daughter moved out a few weeks ago and I miss her so much. (she has been with me since she was a baby) I have to stop myself hating her boyfriend for taking her away from us!
Very irrational I know! I am turning into the type of mother in law everyone loves to hate, so must stop.
Seriously though it's so hard when they leave, especially when they only pop in once a week for a few hours.
Right- I am back on the wagon after the pie, choc and wine fest yesterday- off to get my stocks of fruit and veg.
Have planned some of the meals from the lastest SW mag- I am going to have the pork and mustard mash and get some salmon steaks to do the recipe with the potatoes, toms and peppers.
Hope everyone has a fab Sunday x0 -
Am thinking fried tinned potatoes & egg & beans for breakfast.
This is my new 'thing'.
All free of course which is good
Leftover courgette & mushroom risotto for lunch ~ free too.
Maybe vegetable frittata for tea.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Morning all!
I have my motivation today to get back on the wagon
1- last Christmas I got a Tshirt I've lusted after for quite frankly years. However it only went up to a size smaller than what I was so I said nah get me it it'll fit - it didn't and I put it in the wardrobe - just found it yesterday when clearing out and it fitperhaps a bit on the big side too
2- smaller knickersthat is all smaller knickers!!
My menu plan today
Breakfast - nas squash , apple and pear
Lunch - ham, cheese (hexa) tbsp of branston pickle (1) maybe with ryvita minis or 2 wm bread (hexb)maybe some salad leaf stuff, red onion, raw pepper, pickled onions and beetroot- apple on the plate chopped up, pineapple for after
Or
Bacon sandwich with Tom sauce (1) (hexb for bread)
Can't decide on lunch at all have a few options really
Dinner- roast chicken, roasties (unsw so syns)gravy (unsw so syns) carrots, turnip, broccoli, sprouts
Pineapple and mango for after if needed
Syns - 1 at lunch
Rest on roast dinner
Going to try and only drink nas squash todayStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Hello all,
I am so happy to be joining you in this supportive and chirpy thread.
Have just laughed out loud at the comment about one lady's skinny friend asking her for advice on how to lose weight. Life is highly bemusing at times.
Today I am planning the following:
Breakfast: bacon and tomato omelette with baked beans
Snack: kiwi
Lunch: a healthy extra B soup with a side salad (can't remember what flavour it is - the soup is in the kitchen cupboard wheras I am in my bed)
Snack 2: banana
Tea: SW mushy pea curry (sounds grotty taste great) with beef cooked into it
Supper: proper cadbury's drinking chocolate
I also plan to make some syn free soup from the back of tomatoes and two bags of peppers that have languished in my fridge since Tuesday.
Later I am going for a jog (homework for week 5 of a beginners running course) and I might even go for a pre-Downton swim.
I am seldom this tediously good, so don't worry.November NSDs @ 3/11 = 1
Pounds lost with SW 4/11 = 6.0
November No Unecessary Toiletries Challenge = £2.49. 4UUs, 1 in
November Grocery Challenge £115 / £1500
