Did you know. Slimming world members lose 1.3 million stone every year, 25,000 stones every week, 5,000 stones every day, and over 207 stone every hour. That's 3st 7lb lost every minute of every day. Aren't you feeling good to be part of that. Keep up the good work.

I must admit it spurred me on to order a Chinese and chips
I'm failing miserably this week seriously xxx

    Enjoy your chinese! :D

:rotfl::rotfl: If I was part of it I would feel good!! Well I rejected driving over to the Chinese in favour of the supermarket so not got sirloin steak cooking - BUT forgot to prep my SW chips so going to have some oven cooked french fries :o Also bought the biggest bar of Dairy Milk I could find :o:o:o I'm !!!!!!ed for WI on Tuesday morning aren't I? :(

Well ordering the popping candy Freddo's with my online shop didn't go as planned - they gave me 2 normal & 1 popping candy :( Don't look worth 5 syns either, but I'll save it for a special occasion :rotfl: Would rather have a Wham bar (5.5 syns) or a Kelloggs Squares bar (7 syns) They also omitted my beef from my order altogether & the christmas biscuits looked like they'd been run over by the delivery truck so I sent those back too!

    I just don't understand how I can't lose even though I'm good :(

  • Thank you for the advice Maman I've been considering do some red days because i'm not really fond of rice, pasta etc, its just getting my head around it. I looked for a book with just red days in it, but had no luck. With that in mind I call today a Red Day

    B. we went to the cinema at 11, and I ate then!
Melon, grapes and pineapple, coke zero (whilst surrounded by the smell of hot dogs and popcorn .

L/D At the Harvester, Steak, jacket potato (HEXB), and the salad bar, took my own dressing. Had the bbq sauce on the side which I just used about 1/10th of and small spoon of sweetcorn (i'm gonna call that 2 syns total).

With the tiny amount of milk i'm using, I am going to have some half fat cheese and ryvita's as my remaining HEXA's and B.

So hopefully I have done that right.

Shala have been posting on here a little lately and it's nothing you or anyone has done that has put me off joining in your wt loss challenge. More that if I put pressure on myself to lose weight I do the exact damn opposite isn't it weird? Why do we do this to ourselves? You are all very welcoming and I am glad I have found you (been lurking for a lil while and now dared to join in) lol .

Tracy - well done on your 1.5stone!! did you get a lovely shiny sticker :j

Smilersgran.. wrong way ;) my sister has that issue when doing SW, she eats a lot of pasta/rice and wonders why she's not losing weight. For me personally, I still think there has to be some element of portion control. Are you doing extra easy? Maybe post some of your menus and we can have a look-see :D

Right you lot.. do I have to come and be the tough love person!! When the clock strikes midnight tonight, put down the chocolate/wine/Chinese/crisps * and decide that Sunday will be the day you will eat healthily all day!

If you manage Sunday then maybe you can do Monday too...

ive not done slimming world for three weeks. im on a three week holiday. ive been in hospital for a scheduled op and my beautiful daughter moved out breaking my heart along the way. thats the shortened version. i know i need to get back on it as ive been eating not only well over my syns but ive been binging as well. i spend each and every day crying over my situation and soon i will have put all the weight on ive lost. i must try. im back to class next week to assess the damage. ive got to try but my hearts not in it. im now going to read back this thread to see how well youve all been doing to hope that it will give me some inspiration. sorry if this seems like a sulky post. im struggling thats all
