Such a horrible day weather wise. I'm working today :(

I had a Chinese last night as I haven't eaten much all week.

Going to relax with a bottle of wine tonight with the X factor and Strictly and no doubt will cry a few more tears about my precious pooch.

I know it will pass and I just have to feel it, but I just miss her so so much and home is a very difficult place to be at the minute as I can just see her everywhere in it and its hard to believe she'll not be back.

Anyway good luck to all this weekend. Chin up everyone that's struggling.
  • Hi All,
Lantanna I just wanted to say how sorry I am about your little doggie, how much she meant to you really comes across and I must admit to shedding a few tears for you! When I lost my cat I was the same, I can't get another one as there will never be another tiger.
For Shala- I have maintained :o
That's Ok really as I am still getting over my week off last week, have tried again this week but my Mum turning up with apple pie and clotted cream makes it hard!
I am out for a meal this week and think I have chosen the most fattening things on the menu so will have to try to be good on the other days! I need to increase my 'body magic' too, working more hours means the gym has not been a priority.
Hope all fellow skinnies to be have a great weekend xx
My hubbie had four numbers on lottery last week so is taking me for a spa afternoon later, can't wait, we have both been working long hours and I don't think we have had a proper converstaion for about two weeks!
  • Hi me again!
Meant to ask if anyone knows of a granola that can be a HEX B?
I have got into the habit of having some with my muller light in the morning as I don't like magic porridge but the one I have been having is about 8 syns! No wonder I haven't lost any weight!

pleased with the loss as still not eating that well, must have been the 2.2 mile walk to the hospital 3 days this week. (Son bought Chinese last night ) breakfasts and lunches have been on plan just the teas not always there . Back to work next week, really not looking forward to it .
Frogga, you'll be pleased to know I have given in and am having my eyes tested today. Fully expecting powerful glasses so I can read your font without having to make the page bigger . smiley-with-glasses35.gif

Thank you Thrift Shelly. Time will heal. I keep telling myself feeling this way is worth it to have had the pleasure of having her in my life.

I will get another dog, a rescue dog as I think that's what my Pip would have wanted. I can give a good home to a dog in need. However it won't be happening for quite some time.............months to a year I'd expect - but knowing I will have another gives me some comfort.

We have a buffet thing going on today in work and I'm just after 3 white bread chicken, bacon & mayo triangles and do you know what I don't care lol:rotfl:

I know my motivation will return but for know I'm just concentrating on taking care of myself and getting through each day.

I've noticed that Frogga is quiet too and I hope she is ok!!

    Hi Gang,

I am OK, I'm being quiet because I'm concentrating :D

I was good all day yesterday, and I'm trying hard to get back on track now after my total pigfest on Wednesday and Thursday.

Not sure wether to hop on scales on Monday or not. It won't be good. We'll see. Maybe I'll declare a STS and be good all of next week for a loss in Week 2.

Feel like I've let people down a bit. Week one and already I binged :o What sort of effort was that? But I'm trying hard now so at least I didn't give up all together :(

Have a good weekend people xxx

Frogga, you haven't let anyone down.. i've had a terrible week in week 1 (and i'm likely to have a terrible week 2 as well!) to be honest since i started i've put very little effort in BUT being on here means that some days i can keep it together and those few days have meant i've lost 3.5lbs in the last few weeks..

Without being on here i'd have put 7lb on!

To cut a long story short you haven't given up and that's all that counts in the long run xx

Shala exactly, its not a race - life sometimes gets in the way and but long term we are all going in the right direction.

My Consultant has lost 9 stone and she says half the weeks of the year she has a gain and the other half she loses but she still keeps it off as she knows she can get it off easily the following week.

lantanna, Pip was so lucky to have lived a life so full of love and you could not have done better than to love and care for her all that time as you did. Losing pets is the hardest part of owning them but it is part of the price we have to pay for their love and friendship, and Pip died so loved - as she'd lived. What better way can there be?

It's good to know you are thinking about giving a home to another dog, there are always those who need it when your time is ready.
