This is a bit random but I'm a bit upset.
I was googling looking for some crafty inspiration and found an old post from a lady's blog. I liked the look of the blog so clicked from this old post to view her current posts - only the latest post was from last year and posted by her husband as she had passed away. She was only middled aged and had died from ovarian cancer.
It was like a slap in the face/wake up call and reminded me how fragile life is. And this after reading of Taxi last month.
I owe it to myself and my grand children to lose this weight so i can enjoy my life and their lives to the fullest. I am so lucky in so many ways.
There is no harm in treating yourself now and again but not gluttony like I have been doing.

Hi Folks,
Sorry I've not been about in a while, I've had a very very sad couple of weeks. I lost my best friend my little dog on Wednesday morning after a short illness.
RIP Sweetheart, Til we meet again xx
Anyway I hope time heals.
Unfortunately the first week of my loss for the challenge is purely down to stress and not something I feel like time celebrating.
However it was 1st Week - 5.5 lbs
Hugs to all that need them at the minute. xx
so sorry for your loss, we lost our 2 eldest cats this year.

Thanks for all the support as Maman says "this is a lovely forum" and we all get so much out of it.
Lindens - your damn right, life is far too short and we (myself included) often lose sight of this and sometimes a reminder can be a great thing.
I'm not really focusing on SW this week due to obvious reasons but will tick along with it for now0 -

Sorry, not sure what you mean. Is it a can of spaghetti in sauce? What are the words on the packaging?
I've done my shop, strangely not really hungry for any lunch (must be keeping going on last night's Indian). I'll have a banana just to make sure I've got SFs inside me. SW Bolognese planned for tonight so only syns in a bit of Parmesan although not much milk either today so could be cancelled out. But as it's Friday, there'll be wine syns.:D0
