  • Good morning :)

Glad to be able to point you towards the Katsu Shala, it is really quite quick except grating the bread to get the bread crumbs, I have a food processor but couldn't be faffed to get it out, next time I will! 240g of bread crumbs is a lot and I was a bit peeved to throw about half away (couldn't think of a use for it and was worried to keep it etc because of the raw egg having been dipped in it).

So, I know it doesn't count towards the challenge, but I had my first WI last night and had a 3 1/2Lb loss, so I am pretty happy with that :). I didn't think anything was going when I weighed myself at home, it goes up and down, and then miraculously I get to the group and its gone!

Buffet week next week apparently, so I need to think of something to take along, Bonfire night inspired? any ideas?
  • Morning All!

I tried magic pancakes for the first time this morning, sadly I don't think they are for me :( I've felt rather odd ever since!

Going to my friends for dinner tonight where I expect we'll have pasta, salad and a glass of vino. I go to my first group meeting tomorrow night to start officially, meaning my first WI will be on my birthday so lets hope it's a good loss!

    xx

Haven't planned very well today, but lots of food in, so no excuses!!! One day at a time ;)

Telephone woke me up at 5.50am - was the taxi waiting for hubby outside. Got up to see where he was (he sleeps in the spare room when getting up at 5) & he was still asleep! Got up, dressed & out the door in 6 minutes & made his train :rotfl:

I'm assuming you're doing Extra Easy, lindens, so you're allowed one HEA and one HEB. You've had your HEB in your magic porage. So when it comes to lunchtime you will have to syn the bread at 3 syns per slice. For your HEA you can have 5 Laughing Cows (6 if extra light) or 250 mls of semi-skimmed or you can mix them up and have a bit of both. Not sure if any SF content or syns in Mango chicken but overall might need to up SF. Sorry if I sound preachy but I think keeping a food diary and analysing it is a great way to stay on track. Good luck with WI.:)

MrsR, the way you're going the beloved Lipsy joggers will soon be on ebay!:rotfl:

I've just portioned up lentil and veg soup for the freezer and kept one out for lunchtime. I hate having no soup available especially with cold weather coming on.

    Today's EE plan:

B: HEB porage, HEA milk, NAS Ribena, tea
    L: lentil and veg soup
D: baked haddock, roast veg (courgettes, mushrooms, aubergine, red onion, tomatoes, garlic, peppers) and new potatoes

I'm planning to make a huge tray/trays of roast veg and then keep some for pasta salad.

Beautifully sunny here, enjoy your day all.

And keep out of the syn cupboard frogga! Go and clear the leaves out of your pond!:D
