Hi..

Can any of the maintainers help me with a question - what's the longest you can leave going to class before you get kicked out when maintaining? OH is at target but hasn't been to class for 5-6 weeks - will he still be a member?

I don't think you get 'kicked out' exactly. I assume you can just turn up at your class and get weighed as normal. When I mentioned it the other day it was because I once didn't go for a month or so (sorry can't remember exactly how long) and when I logged on to the website a message came up telling me I wouldn't have access soon unless I weighed PDQ. I suppose you could always be 'reinstated' if that happened though. I'd suggest your OH goes along to a WI and finds out then he can tell us!:D

but I shall still be here cheering you on and may well have my own pledge, something like "my skinny jeans will still fit me by Christmas" :rotfl:

I like it Blod!!:D

Someone asked yesterday for a non-tomato sauce to go with chicken. Sorry I couldn't think of anything. Just checked on-line and there are 104 recipes, some free and all fairly low syn like barbecue, curry, peppercorn..... Just shout if you'd like me to look them up.

I'm having a couple of flexi [STRIKE]days[/STRIKE]meals. I'm out for dinner this evening and lunch tomorrow. Tonight's a charity dinner and last year, although tickets fairly expensive, the food was very ordinary. I suppose most of the money goes to the charity;). Hopefully just a chicken breast with a bit of sauce. Other meals will be very SW though. Damage limitation.

Have a good day all.:A

It was me Maman! I ended up with Diet Coken chicken last night which was lovely... If you could point me in the right direction of the sauces though that would be amazing. Thank you :)

Shala_moo - it's 8 weeks before you get locked out of the website but you get access back again as soon as you go to WI. I don't think there is a limit to the number of weeks you can miss before you're "not a member" because as soon as you go to get weighed your details will come up and if you are out of target you have one week to get back into target and if you don't you have to pay. If you don't go the first week you will be charged back fees until you go again - so often cheaper to rejoin.

Well today hasn't started particularly well as I had to get up early to take DH to the hospital for blood tests and then to work so that I could have the car to go shopping and I promptly forgot to buy any fruit so will have to pop into the farm shop this afternoon when I go to collect DH from work! This of course means I missed breakfast!

Having a Green Day today:

B - missed - as explained above
L - (brunch really) scrambled eggs, mushrooms, toast (HEB1); last of the fruit salad I had in fridge
D - cauliflower cheese (sauce HEA1, HEB2, syns 3.5 for butter & flour); SW chips
Snacks: Mullerlight yoghurt, carrot sticks
Drinks: tea, coffee, water
HEA2 - milk in teas

I had to stop buying sweet stuff as I couldn't stop myself from scoffing everything. I now make a lot of cakes/biscuits from scratch and even though they certainly aren't syn free I don't feel the need to binge on them so much as on the shop bought stuff. I would try and have no sweet stuff in the house but I think my DH and DC might object!
Trying to keep in budget.

• Diet not going so well as I keep blipping. But I still seem to be hanging around the 19st mark which is still over a stone less than when I started in May :)

in other news I've sold some more jewellery at 1 of the shops I'm in :)
I've got a craft fair on Dec 8th - nice gap to help me get more prepared this time (as if).
And I won 2 tickets to the circus. Not sure why I entered as I don't like clowns O.o But will see if parents want to go!

Frogga - Reading other peoples binges makes me realise I'm totally normal! Great attitude to have though that you've drawn a line and are back on the plan today.

Ditto this! When I binge, I really binge. I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to share so hats off to you there Frogga

I'm another one going for 100% on plan today. I want a loss to kick start me on our next challenge. I have also been staying to group the last few weeks for Image Therapy. When I had my gains I was too ashamed to stay which is silly really as this is when I need to.

I've decided on making a raspberry and white chocolate terrine for my taster, I'm using the Options White Chocolate, and this is the only thing I have to syn. Depending on how much f/free yogurt I use the whole dessert could be between 2-4 syns, its also using super speed fruit. So hoping it turns out ok.

My friend has invited me around for a Chinese later, I'm going to be social but am taking soup to have instead. This is how committed I am at the moment - so take note all :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day, and those drawing a line remain under it!

5 Chocolate Chip Cookies
A Snickers Flapjack
2 slices of bread while waiting for
2 slices of toast to cook (both with butter and jam)
A honeycomb Club
A Curly Wirly
A White Chocolate Ghost
A Milky Way
Another Snickers Flapjack
A Mince Pie
A Dime Bar

This is why I don't keep anything like this in the house - otherwise I would eat all that & probably more on a regular basis! :o

Becks - please can I have the recipe for the terrine? Sounds lush! Hope you resist all the chinese bits - it'll be hard but so, so worth it!

Glad you enjoyed the coke recipe, never tried it myself. I think that's because I've heard it recommended for gammon but I do mine 'au naturel' as I like to save the stock for soup.

You'll only be able to access all the recipes if you've joined a group. I know you said you planned to. If you have, then just go to the website, go to recipes and then put sauces in the search. That being said, googling brings up quite a few. Some directly on the SW site and others on Slimming Eats and similar.

afternoon everyone. :)

thanks for all your kind words - yesterday was a bad day :( today is better although I had my sickness review meeting today at work  it was supposed to be with my boss (who I'm convinced would have accused me of pulling a fast one ) it was actually the hospital manager instead - boss was off sick herself! I needn't have been worried though - the Matron was very kind and understanding.
Feel better now that's over but my food intake was all over because I had to be up so early!
B: Tesco frozen fruit salad (apple, mandarin, grape, melon) with 2 vanilla Mullerlights
Snack: Banana on HEXB Nimble toast, some Iceland smoked ham
L: Jacket spud, tuna, HEXA Laughing Cow Light, salad, apple
T: Tesco Light Choices chilli and rice (9 syns) steamed mixed veg and baby new potatoes, Muller Greek Yoghurt (1/2 a syn)

Hope everyone's having a good day xx

Thanks Skint_Catt

Here is the recipe, I got it from the SW website but have tweaked it. So hoping it turns out ok!
Raspberry and White Chocolate Terrine

Prep time:
Cook time: Ready in 15 minutes, plus approx 3-4 hours's chilling

ingredients
2 x 11.5g sachets raspberry sugar free jelly crystals
2 tsp powdered gelatine
350g fresh raspberries
225g fat free natural yogurt (I’m using vanilla Muller light)
1 tsp vanilla essence (I’m substituting this for the Options White Chocolate (2.5 sysns each)

method
1. Place a large loaf tin in the freezer to chill. Place the jelly crystals in a jug and pour over 150ml of boiling water. Sprinkle in the gelatine and stir until dissolved, then top up with 425ml of cold water.
2. Cover the base of the loaf tin with a layer of raspberries. Pour in a quarter of the liquid jelly, then place the tin in the freezer for 10 minutes until set.
3. Combine the f/free yogurt and vanilla essence (Options) in a bowl and stir in half of the remaining liquid jelly. Spoon this mixture over the set raspberry jelly and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes until set.
4. Arrange the remaining raspberries over the set fat free yogurt mixture and pour over the rest of the rest of the liquid jelly. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until completely set.
5. When ready to serve, fill a basin or sink with hot water and dip the loaf tin in the water for a few seconds to loosen the mould. Carefully invert on to a board or platter and shake gently to release the terrine. Cut into slices and serve.
