I'm looking forward to the challenge starting as I'm sure it'll focus my mind a bit. Yesterday ended up going all pear shaped with wine and pancakes involved - must be Monday Gremlins fo everyone.

    Here's today's plan.
B: just tea, later banana, apple and plums after exercise class
L: French onion soup, salad (2 syns for the dressing), WM bread, 1 slice
    D: Salmon, veg

    HEA Milk in teas.

I'm out at a social event tonight so must exercise control.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Argued with OH last night and was so annoyed I turned to chocolate - the only problem was I'd given it to him to keep for me, so could hardly ask him where it was!

I know the idea was to stop me bingeing on it, but that wasn't exactly what I had in mind!

Morning everyone and have a good day.

Yeah lindens we both managed it then!! i'm so grateful to my willpower for showing up today - i'd have been annoyed at myself if i'd have eaten any of them nasty cakes!! :j

The best thing about it shala_moo, is this thread! I was able to portray my feelings/problem of craving on here, which made me feel better. Also once it was down in black and white then and I had support from others, i was able to get through it :)
    I love this thread

    Morning all,

Well done to all those in the autumn challenge, you did brilliantly! I kind of let the side down although to be fair I did only sign up for the first couple of weeks before hols! I won't sign up for the Christmas one as I'm not weighing but I shall still be here cheering you on and may well have my own pledge, something like "my skinny jeans will still fit me by Christmas" :rotfl:

MrsRyan and Frogga - it's really brave of you to come on and admit you've had a binge (although tbh Mrs R yours was pitiful as I'm sure Frogga will agree ;) ) It does help to get it out and draw a line under it though, and you're both doing so well so put it behind you and keep going!

Loving the Gregg's discussion- completely agree with the comments. I always try and remember with all of these places that almost without exception, things NEVER taste as good as they look or sound. If I haven't tried something and really want to I try and steal a bit from OH or someone, then I've got over the novelty and found out that actually it's not that great without wasting however many calories/syns (not to mention the money wasted).

Been a bit up and down the past week or so as haven't been too well since getting back from hols (I blame plane flu, a change in food and drink and British weather!) so haven't been fasting or doing much exercise but am instead aiming to stick to SW principles every day and keep the sweet snacks at bay, which isn't as hard as I thought since I haven't really felt like them. As you'll see from today's menu I'm neither doing one thing nor another but just trying to not eat rubbish until I start to feel a bit better!

    B: Porridge & tsp sugar
L: HM potato & chorizo soup
T: Slow cooked gammon, potato wedges, carrots
    S: We'll see

Have a great day folks :)

    Hi..

Can any of the maintainers help me with a question - what's the longest you can leave going to class before you get kicked out when maintaining? OH is at target but hasn't been to class for 5-6 weeks - will he still be a member?

Hi Shala - even though I am a maintainer, I didn't go to group so I can't help you out with that question - I am sure that either Maman or beanie will probably be the best people to provide a reliable answer.

Keep the faith mrsryan & frogga - you are both doing so well - that day has passed now - forget about it and move on - Tuesdays are so much better than Mondays ;)

Have a good day all :)
