Hi everyone

Sorry I've been quiet. I'm feeling a bit... I suppose you could say strange. Not quite right
had a major wobble on Wednesday when I tried three dresses on Debenhams and none fit
didn't expect the 14 would but when the 16's didn't I had a little cry
I'm seeing the loss now - my size 20 jeans it seems very suddenly no longer fit and oh my god the loose skin - yack
I went to a gig with my best mate on Thursday and met the band afterwards (quite a famous boyband of a few years back on their comeback tour
) which really took me back several years which was quite nice then I had to come home on Friday then to the rugby Friday night. The player I sponsor was supposed to be starting back for the first time since he injured his knee in April but he pulled out at the last minute because his knee's gone again so needless to say I'm worried sick about him
I spoke to him briefly and he protested he's ok but I know him too well unfortunately...)
I'm sliding back into eating rubbish again and I haven't been on the bike for nearly two weeks so I'm struggling to get motivated. I feel like I need a good kick up the proverbial!!!
Saturday's food - I've just eaten really badly
B: Bacon with all the fat removed, banana, cup of coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Packet of chicken tikka chunk things, Hartley's cranberry and raspberry jelly, pink and white, pint of NAS cordial (3 syns there)
T: Chilli con carne (about 16 syns - ooops) Turkish Delight Mullerlight, NAS cordial
S: MugShot, ham, chocolate orange HiFi (HEXB) litre of NAS cordial.
Oh well - tomorrow is another day.
Night all xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Oooo welcome newbys
EasyAs I really don't think you are eating enough. Even if you were not trying to lose weight, you need to put fuel in an engine to make it work matey. If I ate as little as that I'd pass out. I'm no expert but I have lost nearly 7 stone, and I eat LOADS. Seriously, have a look back at my menus
FireEmber you don't need to pay to join a group again, stay on here :T None of us know everything, like a consultant would, but if you post a question, at some point in the day someone will come on a post a reply. In the last 6 weeks us gals have lost over 6 stone between us so it really does work
As for lunch issues, I understand what you're saying, but to make things work, effort is required. I work full time, have a husband who works full time but is very poorly, have 2 Tadpoles, 2 dogs and a household to run. I also have to bike to work and back everyday (10 miles) so time is short. At the weekend I get up megga early and make up batches of food for the week. Lunches would be hm soups, chilli & rice, pasta dishes etc. they go into portion sized tubs and into the fridge, then I nuke them at work. These problems can be worked through, But you have to make an effort, and get organised.
Well done Becks, hopefully Shala will update your loss for you as we're doing totals now, you've done really well
Shala thanks so much for doing the totals for this challenge, and for committing to do the next one. I really think it's helped. It's helped me anyway seeing how well people have done :A I'm sorry to hear your news. Think of all the happy times, think of her and smile.
MrsRyan you must not give up now, you have done SO well. Hold on. In the long journey that some of us have ahead of us, we will lose concentration, get knockbacks, and fall off the wagon. It's normal. And to be expected. When that happens, we just pull each other back on board.
I have fallen off the SW Wagon several times (but I have an excuse as I am quite slippery and Blodwen drives like an idiot sometimes) but the others like Beanie, Nessie, Magic, TIE or Maman will hold out a hand and pull me back up. Also sometimes Catt gets a bit bored and starts flicking me with her paw so the odds are stacked against me  We are all behind you, keep going. It will be worth it.
So ladies, this is the last day of the Awesome in Autumn Challenge. 6 Weeks really went by quickly didn't they? My weigh in is tomorrow morning. My target was 6lb and I know I've made that as I was on 11lb last time so I am pleased. I had a wobble, but I got back to it. That's the most important thing. It's not the wobble you need to worry about, it's what you do afterwards that matters
One more day to be good, then tomorrow a Walnut Whip awaits as a prize for being the most sucessful Frog at Slimming World :T (I know I've already won that prize as there is a Frog in Devises doing SW but she's had a few issues to deal with lately, what with a few stray cats in the area and pollution in her pond from drunks weeing on a friday night, and I know it's really knocked her off the plan)

Hi All!
Yes I agree with Frogga, I eat loads on this plan too, tonnes of jacket spuds, pasta, chilli and rice etc.
So sorry to hear your news Shala, sending you a big hug :grouphug:
Please stick with it Mrs Ryan, i think trying on clothes is always a danger point, that's why I do a lot of on-line shopping, I hate the changing room mirrors in some of the department stores, they show up all my cellulite!! Very depressing!
If it's not too late Shala please put me on the chart as I weighed myself and lost 1lb this week so met my target of 6lb loss, am very pleased. I am 6lb off my target weight now of 10 stone 12lb which I will try to get down to before Christmas and then no doubt will put a bit back on!!
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday0 -

For pudding I'm going to say 1stone I think will depend on tomorrow's weigh in x but I'm probably going to start the body magic challenges too and given its an 8 week challenge? I'm going to go for achieve bronze body magic award I think xxx

I shall say a stone too Mildredd, we can be stone buddies.. However, my average weight loss is about 1/2lb a week:o if at all! :rotfl:
I'm going to search out my body magic books and see what the challenges/awards are... I could do with exercise motivation!
I will update the weights when I get on my laptop in a bit.. On the iPad at the moment and it's a nightmare trying to update it.. But well done losers :T and good luck for tomorrow everyone (I think there are quite a few of you tomorrow)

Sorry to hear your news shala:)
No time to respond to everyone but I'm thinking of you all.:A
MrsR, I think we just have to be resigned to the vagaries of dress sizing and try not to get hung up on it. There are so many variables like style, brand, fabric, cut etc. that it's hard to know exactly what size we are! When I started it was a size target that I really wanted rather than a weight so I know how important it feels. I wanted to be a size 12 in a quality brand. I knew that would probably mean a 14 in Matalan but I've got some stuff from Jigsaw that's size 10. Just keep plugging away and in a while it will all seem totally insignificant when the 16s are hanging off you.;)
I'm curious about your 16 syn chilli: did you have it out somewhere? You can have SW chilli for free.
Yesterday was mixed for me. We had a great Full English breakfast but only SFs were mushrooms so I had just fruit for lunch. For supper we had an Indian and I'm not even going to work out the syns, definitely a flexi meal.
Today's menu:
B: NAS squash, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: nothing planned, probably apple & cottage cheese
lamb shanks on a bed of parsnip, carrot and leeks with SW roast potatoes, cauli, cabbage and broccoli
I'm going to call at the 1lb gained for the challenge which isn't bad for maintaining. I've got two meals out planned before next WI so unlikely to lose that pound.:o I will join the pudding challenge (if you'll have me) just to keep me focused.0 -
Big hugs Shala, think of all the lovely memories to help you get through this sad time. Am thinking of you
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good afternoon everyone.
I hope everyone is enjoying Sunday.
I wasn't very good yesterday - I had breaded fried fish for lunch, and apple crumble for dessert at dinner (all the other stuff was syn free). Oh, and a couple of glasses of wine.
So today is:
B: 2 boiled eggs, toast (HEB) butter, 4 syns
L: ??? Have to eat out
venison stew, vegetables.
The rest of the family will be having rosti potatoes with the stew butcI will have to resist.
Can anyone tell me what the pudding challenge is?Trying to keep in budget.

Hi all
Thanks Maman- the chilli is because we have to use the Everyday Value mince. Money is very tight at the moment because OH's job has just moved to Northampton (we live in Leicester) and also because I'm on long term sick leave so we only have one wage really. The lean mince is too expensive for us to afford which is where the syns are coming from
I've seen the free chilli but it's out f the question
as for sizing I'm about an 18 in jeans I think which seems to be fairly standard across the board but my tops range from an 18 to a 12! I never realised how frustrating it is because when I was bigger I was just a 22 on top and 24 on the bottom- end of! *The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
