I've decided to do a mini shop tonight so I've got some easy options in.

Can any of you recommend some good syn free/ low syn items? The ones you always have on your shopping list apart from fruit & veg such as the Mug Shots.

Thank you :)

Hi all,

Struggling with this diet! I have found the extra easy books now - but they are not EE they are actually called mix 2 match. So this is different as it's green or red for each meal mixed up through the day.

It sounds like you're working from old books, Lohman. Mix 2 match isn't the same as extra easy, it's from some years ago. You'd be better to go right back to the start of this thread and check out the very first post, think it's by Flat Eric, which has the basis of EE, and get some ideas from the SW website and of course this thread. Good luck!
;)

Unless you're a veggie then cold meat (chicken tikka pieces a favourite) and cottage cheese is good. I eat it in a bowl with chopped apple.

Hi all,
What is LO veg that I see some of you write - lots of?? I don't know some of the abbreviations.
hope you're all doing much better than me!! x

it's me that each loads of LO veg i.e. left overs! So if it was me, I'd put a bowl of the mash and veg you're having tonight (and casserole too if there's enough) in the fridge when your plating up. Tomorrow you just need to reheat it for an easy lunch.

You'll get there, just keep asking the questions!:)

You probably mean the 1/2 syn roulade - I've never made it with Muller or options but I'll post my version below which uses sweetened quark:

1/2 Syn Fruit Roulade!!
FRUIT ROULADE - 0.5 SYN FOR THE WHOLE CAKE

Hi I made a roulade today, slightly different, syn free (no baking soda) and used Total 0% instead of quark, which I find nicer.

2 eggs, separated
Candarel to taste
Vanilla essence
1 x 170g tub Total Greek 0% yoghurt

Whisk egg whites until stiff.
Whisk egg yolks with half yoghurt, few drops of vanilla essence and sweetener.
Fold whites into yolk mixture.
Pour into a parchment lined swiss roll tin.
Bake gas 4 for approx 20-25minutes.

Leave to cool then spread with remaining yoghurt (with sweetener added) and raspberries or strawberries and roll like a swiss roll.
Enjoy!!!
