Mmmm, the cawl/scouse recipe looks yummy - I'm starving but can't do much about it.

The doc has put me on antispasmodics and a clear broth and bread diet :(. Luckily I have some quite nice stock pots to make some soup as I have run out of bovril.
There has to be a silver lining at the end of this rainbow.
Trying to keep in budget.

You probably mean the 1/2 syn roulade - I've never made it with Muller or options but I'll post my version below which uses sweetened quark:

1/2 Syn Fruit Roulade!!
FRUIT ROULADE - 0.5 SYN FOR THE WHOLE CAKE

1 TUB QUARK
4 EGGS
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
4 TBSP SWEETNER (I ADDED LOT MORE LOL)
VANILLA ESSENCE (OR ANY)
FRESH FRUIT

SEPERATE THE EGGS

ADD THE YOLK, HALF THE QUARK,
BAKING POWDER, SWEETNER AND ESSENCE INTO A BOWL, WHISK TOGETHER AND SET ASIDE.

WHISK EGG WHITE TILL STIFF. WHISK HALF INTO THE MIXTURE THEN FOLD IN OTHER HALF.

USING A SWISS ROLL TIN SPRAY WITH FRY LIGHT ( I PUT GREASPROOF PAPER IN FIRST THE SPRAY SO DOESNT STICK) POUR THE MIXTURE IN AND BAKE AT
180 FOR 15 - 20 MINUTES. LEAVE TO COOL

IN A DISH ADD REMAINING QUARK ,SWEETNER, AND ESSENCE AND MIX TOGETHER.

REMOVE THE CAKE FROM TIN WHEN COOL SPREAD THE QUARK EVENLY, ADD FINELY CHOPPED FRUIT (STRAWBERRY AND BANANA MY FAVE). ROLL THE CAKE FROM ONE END. SLICE TO SERVE.

THE WHOLE CAKE IS ONLY HALF A SYN AND THATS THE BAKING POWDER. CAN ALSO ADD CHOC OPTIONS SACHET FOR FLAVOURING. WHEN THE CAKE COMES OUT OF THE OVEN IT WILL HAVE RISEN LOADS BUT WILL GO VERY FLAT WHEN COOL LOL I THOUGHT IT HAD GONE WRONG FIRST TIME I MADE IT BUT WAS LOVELY.

Apologies for the caps but that's how it was when I copied it from someone who had posted it (sorry can't remember who).

Denise

Thank you so much. It sounds lovely and I will get the ingredients this week and report back.

Have the flora lol

Think there's some Irish stews in tins that are free? Same for some stewed steak in gravy tins?

Think mrs Ryan at home has a lot of ready meals which are low syn? Which could be kept in the freezer?

What sort of things would u have before sw? I've tried to just adapt my previous meals to be sw friendly or friendlier?

You have 15 syns a day use them ;) sometimes you just gotta have stuff from the freezer that has a syn value
