I have seriously fallen off the wagon at the moment :( not good as I am going to Spain for the week half term and was hoping for a buffer.

I have gone off eggs which was a major part of the plan, being vegetarian ( as in I don't eat meat but do eat eggs dairy and some fish. Don't know what that is called!)

I start off well and then go off the diet as the day goes on. My calorie intake isn't too bad and I am not actually gaining but have stayed at 11 lb off for about 3 months now. I am also unable to get to the gym currently as my fibro is really bad and I currently have the nastiest cold as well.So frustrating!

I gave up the class because the woman running it was really irritating and was pretty rude to me the last time I went, there isn't another local class closebyI can attend, and I don't think the online SW would help me any more than posting here. I get hugely inspired reading this thread but then lose my willpower as the day goes on!

I am posting today as a way of anchoring myself again. I think I need to really plan my meals again- that was what worked for me when I lost the 11 lb so here goes- again !
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

Maman - I often make proper cheese sauce using my HEX A plus syning some cornflour and butter when I'm having a Green day. Also used to do it when I was struggling to keep within bottom end of target which seems a long time ago now that I'm at top end and trying to get back!

These last few pounds to get back to target so I don't have to be so 'rigid' with the plan (and don't have to pay!) are really taking a long time to lose. I'm really hoping that I've lost over the last 2 weeks (as I couldn't go to WI last week) - will find out Thursday am.

I know what you mean denise, but bearing in mind that you had a really long holiday I think you're in a good place. It is good when you don't have to pay though!

Afternoon all :))
As I predicted, a good WI for me today. 2.5 loss taking me to 12.5 total and 1.5 to go for my interim target and my stone. Cracked the 16 stone mark now and total loss since starting my weight loss journey 3 stone and 2.5lbs with 4.5lbs for my own personal loss (ie not all with SW) of 3.5 stone.
Early weigh in today so breakfast was at group- Banana, choc orange HiFi bar (HEXB) and cup of coffee with HEXA milk.
Mum is making lunch which will be tinned vegetable ratatouille, savoury rice and salad with melon, blueberries and kiwi for pudding.
Tea I'm told will be a chicken stir fry and I might just have a little white chocolate Options syn later ;)
TiE, sending hugs and I'm sorry to hear about your mum.
Hope everyone else is well xx

:Ton your loss and tell your mum we'll be round!:D

Whatever you are doing Maman it must work for you as you have been at target for over 2 years IIRC? I actually prefer having extra HEX's as bread & cheese are my weakness so I actually kill two birds with one stone (so to speak). I don't have a sweet tooth and most of my syns come from wine at weekends (like yours) ;)

You're right sukey, I have been at target for over 2 years (August 2011). Like you, I don't have a sweet tooth, prefer things like cheese and crisps if I'm snacking and junk like fish in batter or pies/pasties if I'm having a pub meal.

No rain here and I've been out for a walk too. I even wore my RayBans, thought they'd gone away for the winter!;) I know exactly what you mean about having things when you're out. I don't know anywhere that does wholemeal sandwiches, they always seem to be granary or just brown. Is it because wholemeal's expensive? Jackets are a little easier to come by but most fillings are full of syns like mayo, even plain ones need butter.:(

I've not heard anyone say that SW online was any good and you're very welcome on here for free suzi:) I think a meal plan has to be your answer. Do you like pulses? Take a look at what frogga eats. Lots of spicy beans and things like that and I saw that MrsR was having a tin of ratatouille. Stir fry is always good to stock up on the SFs.

I've grazed at bits over lunchtime but they've all been SW friendly: a banana, a couple of cold new potatoes, an apple and a few cold beef slices. Basically just fridge raiding!:rotfl:

Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Hi all
Just trying to catch up as I have been feeling a bit unwell the last few days. I have been able to eat though. I am trying to catch up on all the posts.
I was at class today and lost ONE HALF POUND and I had been sooooo good. We did join up for the Christmas Countdown so if I keep it up I will be a small way to my stone for Christmas-I hope.
Someone did mention a roulade that can be made with muller in the middle or an options and is very low on sins. I can not find it on the SW site so wonder if anyone can tell me where I can find it. Thanks in advance.
Good Luck to every one weighing in this week!

Hiya Mildredd - what is scouse?

Scouse - beef steak or lamb I have beef x potatoes, carrots, onions, an oxo cube, water, all in a pan, boiled then simmered til potatoes breakdown and it goes all thick n the meat becomes all tender and melts in the mouth, best served with pickled beetroot or cabbage (and crusty white bread covered in butter) leftovers are better the next day too xxx

Where I come from that's called 'cawl'.

I like to add parsnip to mine too. I've got some portioned up in the freezer. Mmmm!

You probably mean the 1/2 syn roulade - I've never made it with Muller or options but I'll post my version below which uses sweetened quark:

1/2 Syn Fruit Roulade!!
FRUIT ROULADE - 0.5 SYN FOR THE WHOLE CAKE

1 TUB QUARK
4 EGGS
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
4 TBSP SWEETNER (I ADDED LOT MORE LOL)
VANILLA ESSENCE (OR ANY)
FRESH FRUIT

SEPERATE THE EGGS

ADD THE YOLK, HALF THE QUARK,
BAKING POWDER, SWEETNER AND ESSENCE INTO A BOWL, WHISK TOGETHER AND SET ASIDE.

WHISK EGG WHITE TILL STIFF. WHISK HALF INTO THE MIXTURE THEN FOLD IN OTHER HALF.

USING A SWISS ROLL TIN SPRAY WITH FRY LIGHT ( I PUT GREASPROOF PAPER IN FIRST THE SPRAY SO DOESNT STICK) POUR THE MIXTURE IN AND BAKE AT
180 FOR 15 - 20 MINUTES. LEAVE TO COOL

IN A DISH ADD REMAINING QUARK ,SWEETNER, AND ESSENCE AND MIX TOGETHER.

REMOVE THE CAKE FROM TIN WHEN COOL SPREAD THE QUARK EVENLY, ADD FINELY CHOPPED FRUIT (STRAWBERRY AND BANANA MY FAVE). ROLL THE CAKE FROM ONE END. SLICE TO SERVE.

THE WHOLE CAKE IS ONLY HALF A SYN AND THATS THE BAKING POWDER. CAN ALSO ADD CHOC OPTIONS SACHET FOR FLAVOURING. WHEN THE CAKE COMES OUT OF THE OVEN IT WILL HAVE RISEN LOADS BUT WILL GO VERY FLAT WHEN COOL LOL I THOUGHT IT HAD GONE WRONG FIRST TIME I MADE IT BUT WAS LOVELY.

Apologies for the caps but that's how it was when I copied it from someone who had posted it (sorry can't remember who).
