Hi all and thank you for the welcome.
My OH was seriously ill earlier in the year and lost loads of weight so he was seriously underweight. ( I offered to donate some of mine but it seems it's not possible.....!)[he was getting all these cravings for sweet and high calorie foods like cake and peanuts, and the dietician said this was his body's way of trying to regain weight. So think of your cravings as being physiological, rather than mental, and you don't need to feel guilty about them. It doesn't make themany easier to resist though, so well done Frogga.:T I suspect you were tired and hungry when you were at the supermarket so no wonder you were tempted.
My OH, by the way, is now thankfully back to the low side of normal weight so I've stopped buying him treats. Having them in the house for him was doing me no good at all!
Lentil and orange soup was very nice, and easy todo as it's cooked in the microwave, though I would reduce the liquid next time I make it as it's a bit thin. Took a lot longer to cook than the recipe said but my lentils had been in the cupboard a while.
Thanks for the advice on meals maman and Mildredd and have a good day everyone.

    Welcome eleanorf

Well done frogga for resisting temptation - glad you feel better for it this morning. I agree with Mr Frog and think you should follow your heart with regard to the job - you sound as though you really want to.

So sorry to hear about your Mum's diagnosis TIE - sending you bigs hugs and thinking of you - let's hope now they know what it is they can sort out some treatment for her.

EE for me today (maintaining so 2 x HEX's for me):

B: Baked beans on 1 slice of wholemeal toast (from 800g loaf) - HEX B (1), 1/2 grapefruit & bunch of grapes, small fruit juice (2 syns)
L: Couscous with loads of SF salad/veg & mackerel fillets in tomato sauce, ML FF greek style yogurt (1/2 syn)
T: 'All-day breakfast' with bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, egg, beans + 1 slice of wholemeal toast (from 800g loaf) - HEX B (2)
S & D: Tea with milk from HEX A (1), water, banana, satsuma, Option hot choc (2 syns)
Total syns for the day = 4 1/2 - still got another HEX A to have - not decided yet!

Have a good day all :)

Thanks for the 'physiological' take eleanorf, I suppose it's logical that we're making our bodies accept a new habit and they have years of getting their own way!;) I'm finding your username hard to get around (too much like elephant) so what about ellie?

:Tto frogga for not bingeing last night, and I'm with sukey and Mr Frog, I'd apply for that job. Teaching's become a thankless task, being battered from all sides (sometimes literally:(). I read this article this morning
    http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/education/article3894738.ece

It really set me up for the day.

    EE day here too:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk
L: banana, apples or fry up some LO veg, depending how I feel
D: cottage pie, peas, cauli and broccoli cheese
Syns: squirt of sauce, cheese sauce

The cottage pie is small (last of 3 HM from freezer) and the broccoli is tired so cheese sauce will hide it and make it a bit more filling. Probably add courgettes and tomatoes too.

sukey, I do admire you 'going by the book' and maintaining with extra HEXs. I always seem to have too many treats to do that. Perhaps cheese sauce can count?;)

Today is going to be another Red day:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; 20g reduced fat cheese
L - ham and cheese salad with 50g of cooked taboule (that's bulgar wheat with veggies, if you didn't know) 2 syns
D - beef stifado (World of Flavours SW book); jacket potato

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - 40g reduced fat cheese (split between breakfast & lunch)
    HEB1 - 2 slices WM bread
    HEB2 - jacket potato
    Snacks - grapes, banana, melon

    Syns - 50g cooked taboule 2
    red wine in stifado 1.5

    Denise

Change of plan for lunch! Decided it was too cold for salad so had some of the vegetable and chicken soup I made yesterday. Followed by some grapes.

This of course means I still have 0.5 HEA2 left as I only had 20g reduced fat cheese with my scrambled eggs and I didn't need to use the 2 syns for taboule.

May well syn a Ryvita later to have with my other 20g of cheese:D

Maman - I often make proper cheese sauce using my HEX A plus syning some cornflour and butter when I'm having a Green day. Also used to do it when I was struggling to keep within bottom end of target which seems a long time ago now that I'm at top end and trying to get back!

These last few pounds to get back to target so I don't have to be so 'rigid' with the plan (and don't have to pay!) are really taking a long time to lose. I'm really hoping that I've lost over the last 2 weeks (as I couldn't go to WI last week) - will find out Thursday am.

    Afternoon all :))
As I predicted, a good WI for me today. 2.5 loss taking me to 12.5 total and 1.5 to go for my interim target and my stone. Cracked the 16 stone mark now and total loss since starting my weight loss journey 3 stone and 2.5lbs with 4.5lbs for my own personal loss (ie not all with SW) of 3.5 stone.
Early weigh in today so breakfast was at group- Banana, choc orange HiFi bar (HEXB) and cup of coffee with HEXA milk.
Mum is making lunch which will be tinned vegetable ratatouille, savoury rice and salad with melon, blueberries and kiwi for pudding.
Tea I'm told will be a chicken stir fry and I might just have a little white chocolate Options syn later ;)
TiE, sending hugs and I'm sorry to hear about your mum.
Hope everyone else is well xx

Whatever you are doing Maman it must work for you as you have been at target for over 2 years IIRC? I actually prefer having extra HEX's as bread & cheese are my weakness so I actually kill two birds with one stone (so to speak). I don't have a sweet tooth and most of my syns come from wine at weekends (like yours) ;)

    Great result mrsryan :T

Good luck joedenise for getting back to your target at your WI on Thursday and to all those with WI's soon :)
