Hi Magibucks I would love to join the christmas pud challenge. How do you do this? I have not posted in ages so thanks for the welcome again. Hope you do well in the challenge.

My books are from 2008!! So have a red cover one side and green the other. It's branded things that I am going to struggle with. Like for example, I have some ski yoghurts in the fridge so if I wanted one do I count it as a low fat fruit yoghurt as in my book for 1.5 syn per 100g (making it 2syn for 1 yoghurt)? And so many other things that don't seem to be in my book.
    Today's menu...
B - nothing - too busy with the kids
    L - whole tin lentil soup - 8 syns!!!!
D - jacket potatoes with beans and small amount cheddar cheese HEB??
HEA - semi skimmed milk for drinks - 1/2 pint
    That's all so far

Hi marco, yes you are very light on the superfree!! One third of the plate at every meal you eat should be superfree (pea's don't count) - so you shouldn't be struggling to eat them, as they should be part of your meals (or if having fruit have it BEFORE your meal as these are the bits you should fill up on first).

Welcome & good luck on your stone for Christmas - certainly doable! :D

    hi all,

I know i'm more of a lurker than a contributer but i realy need some help!!

I've been doing Slimming World since February and lost about 10 pounds quite easily. I then wasn't doing it right, i know where i went wrong, and gained a bit of weight back. I started doing it properly from last thursday and went back to get weighed today and I've put ON half a pound...I really really don't understand, I've been following everything to the letter and watching syns really carefully...does anyone know how this can happen?! I'm really disheartened and upset, I don't know how I'm going to loose weight now.

    Thanks xx

Please stick with it Moomin. Sometimes it is just your body that is adjusting. Each week I manage to stay within syns and one week I have a good weight loss followed by a not so good weight loss but have just accepted that is the way my body is. Also bear in mind that we also have hormone fluctuations during the month which can cause fluid retention. If you stick with it you will lose weight.

    Hi all, remember me!?

I went off the radar for a while and managed to gain 7lbs in 3 weeks. I decided to go back to group tonight as I had had the last 3 off. My head really wasn't in it and I was only managing to make myself worse.

Going back to group tonight was so worth it, I know there are those that do well going it alone and with the support on here. But my group tonight were so lovely and caring I was stupid to stay away too long.

I've decided not to continue on in the 6 week challenge and just plod along as normal.

I haven't been on here in a while so have no idea how everyone is doing :( but I have missed you guys. I'm going to catch up so may be a while. But I will be posting a lot more as I feel this does help, and its always so nice reading about others progress.
